England have had a slow start out of the blocks. I would like to see them be a bit more creative from the backline.

In terms of Ireland, they have taken their chances really well. They are in the game because they have kept themselves in it through pure fierce courage.

I would say we have a close game on our hands.

    Lauren Delany

Oh my. That is sublime from Lauren Delany.

The Ireland full-back is put into space by Claire Molloy's break and offload, sells a delicious dummy, before flooring the pedal and outpacing Sarah McKenna and the covering Lydia Thompson.

A quick one-two punch before the break.

Try - England 15-5 Irelandpublished at 38 mins

    Eimear Considine

What a finish from Eimear Considine. The Ireland wing rolls with Vicky Fleetwood and is upside-down and facing the wrong way as she manage to get the dot-down.

That is her second international try and Ireland are on the board.

Ireland are suffering. Second row Nichola Fryday is hobbling now. They build a spot of pressure on the England line, but then a basic handling error lets the hosts off the hook...

A great driving maul, and to be fair England were a lot tighter there.

You even saw Leanne Riley getting involved - that's always good from a nine!

    Vickii Cornborough

    No doubt about that one.

Vickii Cornborough is at the back of the driven maul and thumps the ball down with relish to claim England's third score.

    England 10-0 Ireland

Ireland scrum-half Nicole Cronin take a bow. The smallest player on the pitch somehow manages to crowbar the ball off the floor to deny Hannah Botterman.

The danger is not over yet though...

Lydia Thompson is into the corner, but has she kept control of the ball under pressure from the cover?

Nope, the England wing has had the ball dislodged by Sene Naoupu's superb last-ditch tackle.

    England 10-0 Ireland

Ireland are forced into another change as hooker Emma Hooban picks up a knock and Sarah Mimnagh is called off the bench to replace her.

It has been stop-start so far, the game lacking rhythm and flow.

    England 10-0 Ireland

Ireland secure a turnover and it is Wasps flanker Claire Molloy who is getting the back slaps after a superb spot of jackaling over the tackled player.

    Talismanic stuff.

It's a great finish from Kelly Smith, she's having a great autumn internationals so far.

Ireland did well to push their defence up and to make some hard hits, but England are finding a way to win.

    More problems for Ireland.

Fly-half Nikki Caughey has picked up a nasty-looking knee injury. She is carried off the pitch and Ellen Murphy comes on in her place.

Wing Kelly Smith races away and into the corner after Tatyana Heard's break, but was there a knock-on by Leanne Riley in the build-up?

  18. Postpublished at 14 mins

England's defence soaks up a succession of Ireland runners and then nabs the turnover.

    England 5-0 Ireland

Zoe Harrison has made a good start at fly-half for England, pulling strings and bringing runners into play.

Her offload to Poppy Cleall though is disrupted by a jungle of Irish arms.

    England 5-0 Ireland

Tatyana Heard - making only her second appearance for England - races into a gap created by Carys Williams' decoy run.

But was it totally legit? The TMO is having a little look and rules that Williams blocked off Ireland captain Sene Naoupu to create the space.

    Penalty Ireland.
