    Quote Message

Hadleigh Parkes was a rock in midfield for Wales today and he also carried well. He is my man of the match.

  3. Wales all-but homepublished at 80 mins

    Scotland 11-15 Wales

A minute to go. Wales are exactly where they need to be. They have the ball and they have a penalty.

They can line up the shot at goal, wind the clock red, and boot it through to clinch the game.

  4. 'Wales don't know how to lose'published at 78 mins

    Scotland 11-15 Wales

    Philippa Tuttiett
Former Wales international on BBC Radio 5 Live

    Quote Message

This is where you see signs of the Welsh belief that they've ingrained in themsleves. No matter what the possession stats say, they have this underlying feeling that they don't know how to lose now.

  5. Can Wales kill it?published at 78 mins

    Scotland 11-15 Wales

Here come Wales. They rumble into the Scottish 22. A try now would kill the game...

  6. Wales stand firm againpublished at 77 mins

    Scotland 11-15 Wales

Wales are taking all of Scotland's best shots and are still standing.

Ali Price romps after a Russell grubber and hits Aled Davies before the Welshman has gathered the ball.

An easy penalty call for Pascale Gauzere and Wales clear their lines. They've been so defensively sound today. They have the ball and with less than four minutes remaining, they can wind down the clock a little.

  7. 'A remarkable game'published at 75 mins

    Scotland 11-15 Wales

    John Barclay
Injured Scotland captain on BBC Radio 5 Live

    Quote Message

This is a remarkable game. It's all pressure and you hope from a Scottish point of view that something has to give at some point.

  8. Wonderful Welsh defence undonepublished at 73 mins

    Scotland 11-15 Wales

That's fantastic defence - absolutely fantastic. They withstand 15 phases of Scottish defence, driving the home side back and back and back, before George North wins a turnover.

But the replacement scrum-half Aled Davies makes a bit of a blunder. He thought the ball was inside the 22 allowing him to kick it directly into touch, when in fact it wasn't - he's given Scotland a line-out right on the 22m line and another chance to attack.

Hadleigh Parkes, with blood streaming from his face, is coming off. Owen Watkin replaces the embattled Wales centre. He's had a fine game.

Six minutes to go...is there a twist in the tale?

  11. Scotland lay siege to Welsh line with 14 menpublished at 72 mins

    Scotland 11-15 Wales

Wales concede another penalty. Scotland go for the corner again. Wales repel them brilliantly but Scotland keep possession.

They go with the heavy artillery, Bradbury and Watson making the hard yards. Grant Gilchrist is down injured so they're attacking with 14 men.

  12. More replacementspublished at 15:52 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2019

    Scotland 11-15 Wales

Frankly, it's a nightmare trying to keep up with all these changes, but I'll give it a go.

Fraser Brown has replaced Stuart McInally at hooker for Scotland.

Gareth Davies and Alun Wyn Jones are off for Wales, to be replaced by Aled Davies and Aaron Wainwright.

Elliott Dee and Dillon Lewis are on in the Welsh front-row with Ken Owens and Tomas Francis off.

  13. 'Great opportunity for Scotland'published at 70 mins

    Scotland 11-15 Wales

    Peter Wright
Former Scotland prop on BBC Radio Scotland

    Quote Message

Great opportunity for Scotland. It took us nearly 19 minutes to score that try, 19 minutes of pressure. It might take another 19 minutes but if we get that try and win by a point we'll be happy.

  14. Scotland go for the cornerpublished at 70 mins

    Scotland 11-15 Wales

Another mountain of Scottish phases culminates in a penalty for the home side. Some big old carries and equally thunderous tackling. What a contest this is.

Russell puts the ball in the corner and Scotland will back their set-piece to deliver a crucial try.

  15. 'The game suits Scotland'published at 69 mins

    Scotland 11-15 Wales

    Martyn Williams

The game is very frantic now and it suits Scotland the way it is being played out.

  16. Watson a 'human wrecking ball'published at 68 mins

    Scotland 11-15 Wales

    John Barclay
Injured Scotland captain on BBC Radio 5 Live

    Quote Message

Coaches want impact from the bench - that's the whole point of the replacements. What an outrageous ball-carry from Hamish Watson. He's a human wrecking ball.

  17. Walloping Watson makes immediate impactpublished at 68 mins

    Scotland 11-15 Wales

Hamish Watson shows Scotland what they've missed this championship, pin-balling his way through half-a-dozen would-be tacklers en route to the Welsh 22.

Here come Scotland again. The crowd are loving this.

  18. Wales are failing to take chancespublished at 66 mins

    Scotland 11-15 Wales

    Gareth Griffiths
    BBC Sport Wales at Murrayfield

At the end of the first half and now in the second Wales have failed to take chances that could have put some distance between them and Scotland.

Time will tell whether they will be left to rue such wastefulness.

  19. 'Wales know how to win games'published at 66 mins

    Scotland 11-15 Wales

    Peter Wright
Former Scotland prop on BBC Radio Scotland

    Quote Message

Wales haven't played well all season but they know how to win games and this is where Scotland have to grow up a little bit.

  20. Scotland forced into major reshufflepublished at 65 mins

    Scotland 11-15 Wales

Scotland call for reinforcements up front. Jonny Gray, WP Nel and Josh Strauss are off. On come Ben Toolis, Hamish Watson and Simon Berghan.

Those changes look planned, but there's an injury to Darcy Graham which certainly is not.

Scotland have already had to put Hastings at full-back and introduced their back-three replacement McGuigan.

Greig Laidlaw is the only back left on the bench so he comes on, and Ali Price, we think, will play on the wing.
