I'm getting nervous around this. Six points is not enough.

There has to come a moment where Exeter position themselves in the Saracens 22 and apply pressure and either get a penalty or a drop-goal and go to nine.

    This is win-at-all-costs game mentality.

A break in play as Saracens flanker Jackson Wray gets some treatment.

He seems okay to continue, although Nick Isiekwe is itching to come on.

Sarries have a scrum five metres inside their own half.

Saracens again get the ball in hand and are pinging the passes around quickly as they look for spaces.

But Alex Lozowski throws a forward pass as he tries to offload, and Exeter have a scrum on halfway.

Let's not kid ourselves. This is not about Saracens playing badly, this is about Exeter playing well.

They are making Saracens play badly.

All of a sudden, an Exeter line break.

Henry Slade goes through, his kick is charged down, but another Exeter kick forward is pounced upon and the Chiefs think they have another try through Alex Cuthbert.

But Alex Lozowski had dabbed the ball down casually first behind his own try line.

Big cheer from the Exeter fans in Twickenham as Alex Lozowski can't hold onto the ball from a pass and Chiefs steal the ball.

They clear away, and then manage to win a scrum on halfway after Billy Vunipola knocks on.

Saracens have had more of the ball and territory in the second half, but haven't really clicked yet.

Since half-time you're getting a sore neck because you're only looking at one half of the field.

It was like tennis in the first half.

Saracens have got Exeter pinned in their own half.

Exeter scrum-half Nic White is in trouble.

Through the phases, Saracens show patience and then spin the ball out to the right.

Nick Tompkins gets on his bike and seems to be threatening, but he can't find Liam Williams in support over his right shoulder and the ball goes into touch.

Mike Rhodes is on for Sarries in the meantime.

Exeter are chancing their arm in the breakdown.

We saw what we considered to be a deliberate infringement in the breakdown and two rucks later they are lying on it, keeping their leg on the ball.

They are certainly testing the referee and the limits they can push to slowing Saracens' ball down.

Richard Wigglesworth kicks into the Exeter 22 and the ball is cleared away, but there's no great distance on the kick.

Line-out to Sarries about five metres outside the Exeter 22.

Exeter's Joe Simmonds does well to gather a drubber kick through from Owen Farrell around 10 metres out from his own line.

    The Chiefs clear away.

Time for Rob Baxter to bring on a whole new front row.

Luke Cowan-Dickie, Alec Hepburn and Tomas Francis are all on for the Devonians.

From the Saracens scrum at the re-start, Wales and British & Irish Lions man Liam Williams spills the ball from a relatively simple pass.

An unusual error, and that gifts possession and territory to the Chiefs.

Really interesting that the Exeter replacements formed a guard of honour for their team as they came out.

By contrast the body language from Saracens when they came out - they almost trudged onto the pitch.

Saracens start the half on the font foot, but the whistle is blown as play nears medics attending to Ben Spencer out on the right flank.

The Sarries scrum-half was injured while Liam Williams claimed a high ball and collided with his team-mate.

The vastly experienced Richard Wiggeslworth is coming on for his seventh Premiership final.

The 35-year-old has won five of those.

The Londoners were out of the dressing-rooms first and raring to go.

Will the second 40 minutes match the first period for drama?

  20. Chiefs command ball, Sarries keep tacklingpublished at 16:00 British Summer Time 1 June 2019

    HT: Exeter 22-16 Saracens

Saracens made 121 tackles in the first half, to 36 from Exeter.

The Chiefs had almost two-thirds of possession in the opening 40 minutes at Twickenham.

If Rob Baxter's side can keep up the tempo you'd favour them to be holding the trophy come full-time.
