  1. Replacementpublished at 41 mins

    England 19-0 United States

    Back under way.

We need to see more physicality and intensity. They have a tall order. The USA have got to get a grip on this game.

Dan Carter or Jonny Wilkinson? Jonah Lomu or Shane Williams? John Eales or Martin Johnson? Gavin Hastings or Jason Robinson?

There are no easy choices in our all-time World Cup XV selector. But there are no shortage of stellar options either.

You have until Monday to put together your XV representing the greatest of the great to do it on the biggest stage.

Whoever does the marketing for this place needs a raise.

Rugby balls, check. Cards accepted, check. English menu, check.

British and American rugby fan heaven.

Significant improvement across the first 40 minutes from England compared to the opener four days and 1,000 miles away. When your set-piece is as dominant as England's then points can only follow. Ford making the most of all that time and space, the US facing a long, leggy second half.

  8. 'USA will be drained'published at 12:41 British Summer Time 26 September 2019

    England 19-0 United States

    Danny Care
Harlequins and England scrum-half on BBC Radio 5 Live

The USA team will be drained by all these mauls and England will run them ragged in the second half.

  9. 'USA no match for England'published at 12:40 British Summer Time 26 September 2019

    England 19-0 United States

    Matt Dawson
England World Cup winner on BBC Radio 5 Live

England are very pragmatic, there's a good kicking game, Ford has had control, they are driving the line-out and are very controlled.

USA are putting everything into it but are clutching at straws. They don't have the firepower to defend what England are throwing at them.

George Ford has looked for his wings with cross-field kicks a couple of times already.

Joe Cokanasiga can't claim that one, and then the Bath wing fumbles a difficult grab as he supports a Jonathan Joseph break.

    That is the half.

A solid, rather than spectacular, 40 minutes from England.

Straight through the heart of the Americans. England are organised and powerful. The backs at the back of the maul were doing nothing more than patting the forwards on the back.

    Luke Cowan-Dickie

England's more ambitious play has not clicked. So far it hasn't needed to.

Another old-school driven maul off the line-out and it is too clever and too powerful for the United States.

Everywhere they try and stem the flow, another leak springs forth towards the whitewash.

Luke Cowan-Dickie is at the bottom of the pile over the line. George Ford bounces his conversion attempt off the post and out.

In Japan, people bow a lot. They do it to say thank you, apologise or when they want to ask for something, among other things.

After the ball girl tonight takes a ball to the centre for the restart, she bows at the referee from the touchline. Japan is great.
