New Zealand fly-half Richie Mo'unga said: "It was something we have been looking forward to after a long break, so to throw the ball about in an amazing stadium made it an entertaining game.

"It was a good time to try things and experiment with some new moves. The ball was wet and it meant the backs could have some fun."

On his 100% success rate from the tee: "I have been working on my kicks over the last few weeks so it's awesome."

I thought that the Beauden Barratt- Richie Mo'unga axis worked well. They found holes everywhere and orchestrated things brilliantly. When they have go-forward ball that system of having two playmakers works brilliantly.

Atunaisa Moli did superbly as well. For a loosehead to keep performing in these conditions for a full 80 minutes is superb.

New Zealand captain Kieran Read said: "It was tough in the humidity under the roof but it was awesome to be a part of. We were dripping wet as soon as we started but it is something to work on as we know we will have those conditions later on [in the tournament].

"There were positives in both halves but we made some mistakes too, so things to work on."

The All Blacks have made a lot of errors tonight that they won't be happy with, there were periods of the match when they took their foot off the accelerator.

The way that the All Blacks could lift their tempo was a positive, but there were too many handling errors.

Daniel: All Black attacking game is pretty limited on this evidence. Total reliance on try-scoring. Not a single drop goal or penalty kick.

Canada do put the ball in touch and that's that!

So New Zealand have made it two wins from two by ruthlessly putting Canada to the sword.

That is 16 consecutive World Cup wins. Can anyone stop them?

The clock ticks into the red, but instead of putting it out of play, New Zealand are off with Beauden Barrett.

The full-back looks certain to score as he eats up the ground before him...

But he drops the ball forward with the line at his mercy. That was not in the script!

This time they retain the ball but Peter Nelson's chip over the top is met by the onrushing Ben Smith.

That is probably Canada's last chance to get on the scoreboard gone as we tick into the final minute.

The red shirts trundle to the mark, clapped on by the crowd, but Kieran Read gets his mit to the ball to knock it backwards.

Richie Mo'unga clears the ball and Canada will have the chance to run it back.
