Is the magic spray starting to wear off?

Rieko Ioane drops the ball backwards before Patrick Tuipulotu spills it forward.

It won't matter in this game, but these little unforced errors will be the only blemish on an otherwise excellent performance by the All Black machine.

That was a great set-piece. There is a lot to compete for at this Rugby World Cup for the All Blacks squad, some of these guys are making sure that they stay in the conversation for deeper along the line.

    Straight off the training ground!

Beauden Barrett comes into first receiver to run a scissor with Richie Mo'unga, who bursts clear.

The fly-half pops it off to Brad Weber and the scrum-half breezes to the line.

He's only been on the field for 16 minutes and he has racked up two tries. Richie Mo'unga kicks the conversion.

The All Blacks have been absolutely clinical after the interval.

They must have applied some magic spray in the changing room because they haven't dropped a single ball after the restart.

The signs are ominous for Canada.

The way the All Blacks have come out after the break shows that they want to make a statement. The replacements who have come on, Brad Weber at scrum-half and Ryan Crotty in midfield, have helped as well. They realise this is an opportunity for them.

    Brad Weber (con Richie Mo'unga)

It's been men against boys in the second half as the All Blacks bring up the half century.

Canada are out on their feet now and New Zealand are running though huge holes in the broken field.

Replacement scrum half Brad Weber gallops clear after some good work by Beauden Barrett and Richie Mo'unga maintains his 100% success rate from the tee.

    Shannon Frizell (con Richie Mo'unga)

    Relentless!

New Zealand score - Canada restart - New Zealand score.

This time it's Rieko Ioane who exposes a couple of tired Canadian defenders to feed Shannon Frizell.

It's all too easy and Richie Mo'unga adds the two.

Richie Mo'unga takes the ball to the line to create that opening for Kieran Read. Since half-time the ball retention has improved markedly and given Richie Mo'unga more time to pull the strings and find the space in the Canada defence.

    Scott Barrett (con Richie Mo'unga)

The floodgates have opened and all three Barrett brothers have scored!

Richie Mo'unga shows his class to accelerate through the tackle to offload to Kieran Read.

The skipper throws it to Scott Barrett and the lock makes amends for his mishap in the first half by ground the ball with both hands.

    Richie Mo'unga kicks the conversion.

That was great turnover ball with Jordie Barrett taking the high kick and Sonny Bill Williams did very well to recognise that he could find Rieko Ioane who definitely had the pace to make it over.

It's taken just 42 seconds from the restart.

The influential Sonny Bill Williams glides through a gap before feeding Rieko Ioane for a simple run-in on the wing.

They must have had a telling off at the interval and Richie Mo'unga adds the extras.

The fundamentals of the game are what the All Blacks usually pride themselves in but they are what has been lacking for much of the first half.

There have been some simple dropped balls, some nagging problems where they have fallen short of their high standards. They are all simple fixes but they need to be sorted soon.
