It's the nature of the beast in the game, and sometimes you have to take the yellow card.

It's outstanding how quick Darcy Graham is to get past Kyle Steyn. He's quick on his feet.

Yup. Jackson off for 10 minutes. He can't have many complaints. Edinburgh go for the posts.

  5. Darcy dazzlespublished at 18:15 Greenwich Mean Time 21 December 2019

    Glasgow Warriors 3-3 Edinburgh

Wow, that is a sensational bito f skill from Darcy Graham, the first sliver of backline wizardry on 27 minutes.

The winger just stands up Kyle Steyn in about a yard of space, in and out, sears up the right touchline and chips over Ruaridh Jackson.

Graham then hits the deck under the challenge of the jumping Glasgow full-back. It looks like Jackson dangled a leg out to impede the rampaging winger.

That could well be a yellow card...

    Glasgow Warriors 3-3 Edinburgh

The Glasgow penalty count is rising. Rob Harley with a rather cynical maul infringement. Blair Kinghorn bullets a super kick deep into Warriors territory. Edinburgh have their tails up just now, but the ball squirts out of a ruck and Henry Pyrgos can't recover it. Another big turnover for the home side.

It's errors that are costing the teams. Both sides need to eliminate these errors. Don't give the other team an opportunity, as it's going to be a really tight game.

    Glasgow Warriors 3-3 Edinburgh

Edinburgh have launched a few high balls on Ruaridh Jackson so far, but the Glasgow full-back has coped with the aerial assault very well. He's made some fine takes under pressure, the shot below displaying one of them.

Edinburgh are looking to test Glasgow, they're not putting too much in to their attack but bringing in Darcy Graham and Blair Kinghorn carrying as well.

  11. Postpublished at 18:08 Greenwich Mean Time 21 December 2019

Penalty Edinburgh, Glasgow creeping offside. Edinburgh a touch fortunate the officials didn't spot a rather blatant clear-out from the side earlier in that move.

  12. Watson on the rampagepublished at 18:07 Greenwich Mean Time 21 December 2019

    Glasgow Warriors 3-0 Edinburgh

Here's trouble. The effervescent Hamish Watson gobbles up a Glasgow overthrow and sizzles his way into the home 22.

  14. Huge turnover!published at 18:05 Greenwich Mean Time 21 December 2019

    Glasgow Warriors 3-0 Edinburgh

Wow, you don't see the Edinburgh breakdown pulverised like that very often!

Pierre Schoeman makes a powerful carry, but his supporting players can't prevent an immense Glasgow counter-ruck turning the ball over. George Horne clears, Edinburgh start again from halfway.

  15. Edinburgh make first red-zone inroadspublished at 18:04 Greenwich Mean Time 21 December 2019

    Glasgow Warriors 3-0 Edinburgh

Glasgow regain possession and a fine spearing run from Callum Gibbins is negated when Zander Fagerson fires an inside ball at Jonny Gray. The big lock can't take it, and Kyle Steyn scoops up the pill from an offside position.

Blair Kinghorn rifles one up to the Glasgow 22. It's their first chance to make inroads into the home red zone.

Edinburgh win another line-out penalty, but then get outfoxed by Glasgow at the maul and are guilty of accidental offside. The home side did not engage with the drive, meaning when Edinburgh shifted the ball to the back, the players bound at the front were doing so illegally.

Glasgow get a scrum, win a free-kick, Hastings punts down to the visiting back-three, and Edinburgh try to run out of their own half.

  17. Hastings with a crackerpublished at 17:58 Greenwich Mean Time 21 December 2019

    Glasgow Warriors 3-0 Edinburgh

Excellent vision and a lovely kick from Adam Hastings. Blair Kinghorn, Edinburgh's full-back, was out of position having hared after a high ball and made a big tackle.

Hastings spotted the space in behind the Edinburgh line, and put in a beautiful bobbling kick to touch within 15m of the home line.

Edinburgh win their line-out ball, and Glasgow infringe at the maul. The pressure valve is released.

Meanwhile, Edinburgh lock Grant Gilchrist needs some patching up from the medics.

    Glasgow Warriors 3-0 Edinburgh

From the kick-off, Duhan van der Merwe puts in a massive hit, and Glasgow wind up with a scrum under their own posts.

They win a penalty from the set-piece, which will give them a big pyschological boost. Zander Fagerson was adjudged to have gotten the upper hand on Pierre Schoeman.

Adam Hastings boots the ball down to halfway, but Edinburgh pinch the Glasgow line-out and the home side will defend again.

It was a dominant tackle on Blair Kinghorn. Edinburgh had to retreat to try and get the ball. Glasgow saw that as a chance to pile men in.

  20. Penalty Glasgow Warriors 3-0 Edinburghpublished at 17:53 Greenwich Mean Time 21 December 2019

    Adam Hastings

Over she goes. A simple enough kick, just right of centre, from around 25m. Glasgow lead after seven minutes.
