The clock ticks into the red, England will win the game, but Wales are still throwing the ball around as they look for their third try and a losing bonus point.

Great defence by a tired England side to keep them at bay for now.

Zeb Bowyer: That is an absolute shocker. No intent. No foul play. Not deliberate. Didn’t lead with the shoulder. Even George North knew that wasn’t a red card. Utter shambles.

Kaylan Geekie: If only England had this kind of balls and bravado in the World Cup Final, instead of getting their pipes cleaned by the Boks. There was definitely no back slapping in that game as the Boks pack demolished these flat track bullies.

If that was a World Cup final, I don't believe Manu Tuilagi gets sent off. I think it's circumstantial to England being 33-16 up at home.

How low was George North? But Paul Grayson was right - as soon as you don't lead with the arm you're putting yourself in a dangerous position.

Wales run a move off the training paddock and Dan Biggar grounds the ball over the line at full-stretch.

Just over two minutes to go. They couldn't could they..?

DGB: That's the wrong call from the referee here. It's a foul all day, but NORTH puts his head down, looks worse in slow motion, but didn't take into consideration how difficult it was to not make contact there at the point it happened. red harsh.

Theo Bowyer: Tell me how Tuilangi can change his body position once he has committed to the tackle... it’s a split second decision. Never a red in a million years

England have done so well to drag that maul down. In terms of Manu Tuilagi, he knows what he's done. As soon as he turns his head and shuts his eyes, he's out of control. His technique wasn't up to it. The good news was that George North was straight back on his feet and is OK. The two players hugged it out as Tuilagi left the field.

When England have needed him, Maro Itoje has come up trumps today.

With their backs against the wall, the second-row is influential in winning his side the penalty with Wales preparing to launch a driving maul from the line-out.

Twickenham responds with a loud cheer before breaking out into a rendition of 'Swing Low'.

    They are nearly there.

John Reynolds: England are the better side but the sheer volume of their skulduggery is breathtaking. Players been shoved over off the ball, held on the ground, dived on while on the ground, tacklers not releasing etc etc. It's off the scale

Tuilagi's got to be careful there. The picture does not look good. There's no arms out, you're leading with the shoulder.

Wales keep the ball tight and then throw it wide to George North but Henry Slade and Manu Tuilagi combine to keep the winger out.

Slade wraps the legs but Tuilagi flies in and it doesn't look like he uses his arms.

This is being checked by the TMO and England could end this game with 13 men.

Wales are making progress because they're going through the middle. Throwing a dummy, having a go, trying to keep England honest. It's taken them 68 minutes to work it out...

Alun Wyn Jones is fit to continue for now, and as their captain rises to his feet, his players respond by making a rare surge forward through Nick Tompkins.

They have the penalty as England are penalised for not rolling away and the ball is kicked to touch on the English five-metre line.
