    Italy v England (16:45 GMT)

England head coach Eddie Jones has been forced to contend with several injury problems - fly-half George Ford, full-back Elliot Daly, centre Manu Tuilagi, prop Joe Marler and second row/blind-side Courtney Lawes are the most notable absentees - and means there will be several debutants involved in Rome.

Exeter's double-winning lock Jonny Hill, who starred as the Chiefs won a domestic and European double this month, is one of them and joins Maro Itoje in the second row.

The return of full-back Matteo Minozzi is the only change to Italy's starting line-up from last week's defeat by Ireland

Minozzi, who replaces Jayden Hayward, missed last Saturday's 50-17 loss in Dublin because he was playing for Wasps in the Premiership final.

Coach Franco Smith keeps faith with 20-year-old fly-half Paolo Garbisi, who scored 12 points on his debut last week, including a try.

  4. Mamma mia!published at 16:25 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2020

    Italy v England (16:45 GMT)

Here are a few stats which show why England - even with several injury problems - are expected to hump Italy.

    The Italians have:

    • lost their past 25 games
    • never beaten England in 26 previous meetings
    • conceded four or more tries in their past six Six Nations meetings with England
    • lost those six matches by an average margin of 33 points

  6. Who is going to win the Six Nations?published at 16:20 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2020

    Italy v England (16:45 GMT)

That is the big question, of course. Most are backing England to end the day as the champions, including former England international Ugo Monye.

"I think the most likely outcome is England batter Italy and end up lifting the Six Nations trophy," said Monye on the BBC's Rugby Union Weekly podcast.

Monye, like many, expect England to earn a bonus-point win in Rome and then see France and Ireland cancel each other out in a low-scoring game.

If England seal their side of the bargain, then both the French and the Irish would need bonus-point victories themselves.

"Who in recent history have done such a job on their teams that you see an Andy Farrell team conceding more than four tries or a Shaun Edwards team conceding more than four tries? That doesn't happen," added Monye.

  7. Waiting game for England?published at 16:17 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2020

    France v Ireland (20:05 GMT)

England's task is clear. Win and win big. Then it is a case of sitting back in front of a telly - presumably in a Stadio Olimpico hospitality suite - and watching how France and Ireland get on.

FYI that kicks off at 20:05 GMT. You can watch that live on BBC TV or right here with us on the website.

  8. Who needs what to finish Six Nations championspublished at 16:15 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2020

In simple terms, this is the state of play:

    • Ireland will be champions with a bonus-point win over France, although victory without a bonus point might still be enough

    • England need an emphatic win over Italy and hope Ireland lose by a low score in France

    • France can leapfrog both of their rivals if they beat Ireland and better England's result

Of course, permutations are never straight forward. If you want a brain scramble then head to this piece where all the eventualities are unpicked.

So in these very unnormal Six Nations surroundings, I want to know what you are doing to make the day and the occasion feel more like an England match?

Whether it is the national flag covering the outside wall of your semi-detached, a red cross painted on your face or your English bulldog wearing a St George's top hat and waistcoat, you must tell us.

Photos are necessary, of course. Tweet #bbcrugby.

    Italy v England (16:45 GMT)

Hello! Doesn't quite feel like a Six Nations finale, does it? We're hours away from November for starters.

On a weekend which would usually be be filled with an Autumn Test, or a World Cup final in 2019, the Championship will come to a conclusion. That's 237 days after the tournament was halted by you know what.

Thankfully, it promises to be worth the wait...

England are wading into a final-day dust-up with France and Ireland, with all three capable of finishing as Six Nations champions.

Unfortunately, this Six Nations day is like no other for England fans.

No trip to the game with your mates, probably not a trip to a pub. Unless you're having a substantial meal, of course. Pie and chips can be stretched over 80 minutes, perhaps.

A few things remains the same, though. The passion. The escapism. Today, especially, for English fans.

And us! We're here to talk you through the action from an empty Stadio Olimpico...

Waking up bright and breezy, unable to stay in bed because of the excitement. Grabbing your favourite replica shirt out of the drawer.

Where's that St George's Cross? There it is. And the jester hat? Is everyone wearing them? Nice one.

Time to set off. Bouncing down the pavement, a manic grin across your face, can't wait to meet the gang and get to the ground.

Gathering in a sweaty pub with your mates. The clink of pint glasses, the clunk of jars hitting the table.

The hush as hundreds of pairs of eyes are fixated on the big screen. The hurrah as the kick goes over the posts.

Someone sings, everyone joins in. That warm, fuzzy feeling inside of unity, patriotism and triumph.
