It's going to be hard for France to chase, Ireland are in a good place and just need to continue what they are doing.
We all would have done what Caelan Doris did, eh?

David McCalmont: Why is an English referee taking charge of France v Ireland when it was clear what was going to be at stake?? Was as much a penalty try for Ireland as France's was

France are good and will score. If you go in with the mindset of saying 'don't worry, they'll score a couple'. It's about staying in there, kicking your goals and forgetting when they score.
Ireland just need to worry about winning and not the six points they need to win by. In the last 10-15 minutes a lot can change.

So Ireland only need to win by six points now because they've scored a try. Can they? Will they?

If you just walked out and missed the two France tries you'd think that Ireland are winning this comfortably. France can just score out of nowhere though.
It's an intriguing game.

I'm pretty happy. It was a strange decision at the end to not take the kick at goal. Ireland only need to win by six so tries aren't all that important.
If you're watching on the tellybox then prepare to change over to BBC One.

England are 40 minutes away from winning the 2020 Six Nations.
You know what they say... 40 minutes is a long time in rugby. Do they say that? They should.
This how the table looks at the halfway stage in Paris...
France 17-13 Ireland
Conor Murray conducts the play - moving the ball from right to left. Ireland go back right trying to find that chink of light through the French defence, but Ireland concede a pen.
The ball is kicked out and we have HT.
France 17-13 Ireland
Ireland pen and Johnny Sexton chooses to kick for the corner.
Hmm...
Line-out.

Ref Wayne Barnes awards the scrum to Ireland - they make their way into the French half.
Jamie Heaslip
Former Ireland number eight on BBC Radio 5 Live
The worrying thing is France have done very little but they are still ahead.
That side to side is stretching Ireland. You know Ireland are going to be predictable, they are going to be efficient.
But France still have a lot more to offer - which is concerning.
France 17-13 Ireland
It's a French pen.
Romain Ntamack over the ball and finds the sweet spot.
The home side will be seeking another try before HT while they're a man up.
France 14-13 Ireland
Gael Ficou tries to conjure something on the left again. He then comes inside and feeds Romain Ntamack.
It's brewing up at the Irish 22.
France 14-13 Ireland
Cian Healy, who went off injured, re-enters the field of play after his assessment.

Having said that...
... more poor French discipline inside their own 22 allows Johnny Sexton to slot over again.
