Wales' kicking game has been all too predictable. Ireland are demonstrating a more varied approach.

We just saw Ireland scrum-half Jamison Gibson-Park do a ridiculous flick pass and that just appears the difference between the two sides.

    Ireland are so relaxed.

    Conor Murray

That's probably the game done for Ireland now.

They may not have Johnny Sexton or Billy Burns - but no problem when you've got a world-class scrum-half and useful kicker like Conor Murray to call upon.

His second penalty puts Ireland 16 points clear with eight minutes left.

    Ireland 22-9 Wales

Bristol fly-half Callum Sheedy is on for his Wales debut.

He was born and raised in Cardiff but played for Ireland Under-19s and England's senior team in a non-capped international.

Sheedy has committed to Wales now, though, and he's on for Dan Biggar.

Meanwhile, Ireland back-rower Will Connors comes on for Josh van der Flier.

That penalty for Ireland is a setback for Wales.

At 22-9 down, Wales have to chance their arm now if they are going to win this game.

    Conor Murray

Lloyd Williams is caught after a Welsh line-out, hooker Elliot Dee crouches over him and is penalised for sealing off.

Ireland have a penalty in kickable range to the left of the posts.

Conor Murray is on at scrum-half and converts it well.

Despite Wales' second-half improvement, they trail by 13 points as they did at the break.

It is not the best exhibition of the aerial battle by either side.

Dan Biggar is trying to bring George North and Leigh Halfpenny into the game with those kicks, but they were not able to challenge.

    Ireland 19-9 Wales

Wales build another promising attack, with replacement scrum-half Lloyd Williams providing quick service.

But the latest move falters when Shane Lewis-Hughes knocks on.

Frustrating for Wayne Pivac's men but a vast improvement compared to the first half.

  17. Replacementpublished at 60 mins

    Ireland 19-9 Wales

That is a sight no Wales fan - or any rugby fan, in fact - wants to see: Jonathan Davies receiving treatment.

The British and Irish Lions centre has suffered several serious injuries over the course of his distinguished career. Let's hope that's not another.

He goes off and is replaced by George North, who makes his 100th Test appearance.

It is the first time Wales have gone through the phases and the only time Ireland have been under pressure.

Wales have been the better team in the second half.

For all the promise of that Welsh attack, it comes to nothing.

    Leigh Halfpenny's penalty drifts wide.
