Wasps deserve huge credit, obviously they've been under pressure with their squad because of Covid but the 23 who took the field today gave it everything and for one brief moment they had one hand on the trophy.

In these Covid-19 times, there won't be too much hanging around until the trophy is presented.

This Exeter squad are a quality outfit.

The dynasty, the legacy that this team can create for the next two or three years could easily compete with the Wasps from the noughties and the Leicester of the nineties.

They are a poster team for the Premiership right now and I'm thrilled to bits for them because they are a team you want to support and do well because of their attitude, there isn't a jealousy around how they do it.

It's a hard grafting mentality and it's a pleasure to watch.

Celebrations meanwhile have begun on the pitch for double winners Exeter.

Their chairman Tony Rowe is out there too to shake hands with the players and congratulate them on a fine season.
