    Owen Farrell

Will Owen Farrell see if he can change his call and kick to the corner with his side now a man up?

Nope, the England captain keeps the tee and slots the kick to cut the gap to two.

  2. Sin-bin - Scotland's Finn Russellpublished at 37 mins

    England 3-8 Scotland

    Hang on a second.

Before the kick can be taken, the video referee thinks she has spotted some naughtiness from Finn Russell.

The Scotland fly-half has stuck his foot out instinctively after he buys a dummy from Ben Youngs. It is a trip. And a yellow card for Scotland's main man.

    Offside.

Owen Farrell opts to take the points and pay off some of the debt...

Tom: Stronger. Quicker. Sharper and more desire. Scotland over England in all areas since the off. We have been awful.

Craig: England absolutely shocking, Scotland could end up running away with this!

Try - England 0-8 Scotlandpublished at 17:20 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2021

    Duhan van der Merwe

    This time it counts!

It is a superb team try that has a bit of everything. A pin-point cross-field kick from Finn Russell, a bustling run from number eight Matt Fagerson and then a lovely piroutting finish from Duhan van der Merwe as he spins out of Mark Wilson's tackle and over.

No extras, but Scotland are well worth the eight point advantage.

For all money, it skids on, he scores, if it bounces up, he scores. Gregor Townsend has his head in his hands - that was a try for all money.

  11. Bounce of the ball denies Scotlandpublished at 28 mins

    England 0-3 Scotland

    SO CLOSE!

Duhan van der Merwe is done by a bounce that you get once in a 100 times of trying.

The Scotland wing is only a whisker away from dotting down Stuart Hogg's cute chip ahead.

The scrum is normally England's bread and butter, but maybe the loose of Mako Vunipola and Kyle Sinckler is sapping their set-piece strength.

Scotland definitely on top as they win a free-kick and then a full penalty.

The visitors call for the scrum again. Another infringement by England and referee Andrew Brace might be walking under the posts for a penalty try...

Hamish Watson has been all hair and headband for this opening 25 minutes, he has been awesome - does he want that Lions spot? Scotland look well drilled, disciplined. They are so up for this.

Hamish Watson steps and plunges towards the line!

Can he get there? Nope, denied! Just!

A superb tag-team tackle effort by Ellis Genge and Jamie George.

Still Scotland have the scrum five to have another pop...

    Accumulation rather anything particularly outrageous.

Billy Vunipola catches Finn Russell round the neck with a stray, but loose arm.

He is taking a 10-minute spell on the naughty step.

Ill discipline kills you, whatever level you play at. Seven penalties in 23 minutes isn't good enough.

It's been a very encouraging 22 minutes, but it's only 3-0 - Scotland would have wanted more than that so far.

Maro Itoje is right up on the offside line trying to put the pressure on Ali Price and Finn Russell.

It looks like a clear mission he has been handed pre-match by Eddie Jones.

But he is a little over-eager there. An eighth penalty blown against England.
