    Big moment from Nick Tompkins!

The Wales centre rushes up in defence and tackles Jordan Larmour, forcing the Irishman into a knock-on.

Scrum to Wales with 30 seconds on the clock.

We are now into the final minute.

Ireland still have possession and they've worked their way into the Welsh half.

Well, it was a golden opportunity until Wales coughed up possession again.

Ireland have a scrum inside their own half. It would take something special to win from here.

Wales secure their own line-out and, more than that, they're awarded a penalty as Justin Tipuric is taken out in the air.

Dan Biggar kicks the penalty to touch in the Irish half and Wales have a golden opportunity to see this game out now.

I think you have to give credit to the Welsh conditioning staff.

Alun Wyn Jones obviously hasn't played for months on end, Josh Navidi has been out for months, the same with Ken Owens.

It's a credit to them that those three guys are still on the field.

    Wales 21-16 Ireland

Ireland secure line-out possession near the Welsh 10-metre line and, after good maul defence from Wales, the away side recycle the ball.

They're having to be patient again. The phases are slow and the movement is a little too lateral.

Eventually the attack loses all its momentum, Billy Burns tries a cross-field kick and it goes straight into touch.

    Not his finest moment.

  13. Do Ireland have the belief?published at 16:54 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2021

    Wales 21-16 Ireland

    David Humphreys
Former Ireland fly-half on BBC Radio Ulster

The big challenge is can Ireland continue to play as they have and do they have belief in the systems that Andy Farrell has implemented? This is when you find out if your players believe. If they can hold onto the ball and cut out their errors then they have a really good chance to sneak the win.

    Wales 21-16 Ireland

This is getting scrappy now. Both sides struggling to keep hold of the ball, which is spending a fair amount of time in the air.

Ireland have a penalty and another chance to kick into the Welsh half.

Another break in play as Ireland lock Tadhg Beirne receives treatment. He seems fine to continue.

Ireland have really gone through the phases and Wales have had to make a lot of tackles today.

The guys have really put their bodies through some strain here.

It's been a brutal Test match.

Danger for Wales as Ireland work their way to within five metres of the home try line.

Wales' first-up tackling is strong - with captain Alun Wyn Jones leading the way - but Ireland have a penalty advantage.

The move breaks down and they'll come back for that penalty. It looks like they might go for goal and give themselves eight minutes to find a match-winning try.
