  1. Italy defence making it easy for Walespublished at 14:35 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    Italy 0-15

    Garin Jenkins
Former Wales international on BBC Radio Wales

With the narrowness of Italy's defence, it looks like it's going to be tries at will.

The width is coming all the time for Wales and their passing game looks really slick.

  2. Wonderful Walespublished at 16 mins

    Italy 0-15 Wales

    Gareth Griffiths
    BBC Sport Wales

Any thoughts of an upset seemed to have been dispelled early on here by Wales.

They are in complete control through a storming start that has not always been the case against Italy.

The visitors have exposed the extra man perfectly in clinical fashion.

Clinical has been the buzz word of this Six Nations campaign so far for Wayne Pivac's side.

  3. Wales looking dangerous on the counterpublished at 14:32 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    Italy 0-15 Wales

    Tom Shanklin
Former Wales international on BBC Radio Wales

How exciting is it with turnover ball?

Josh Adams does really well to rip the ball and then two quality passes; one from Adams to Liam Williams and then a long ball to Louis Rees-Zammit who gets on the outside, and we all thought it was going to be a chip and chase like we saw against Scotland.

  4. try

Try - Italy 0-15 Walespublished at 14 mins

    Taulupe Faletau

Wales are in total control and that try looked all too easy for them.

Their attack starts with a move to the left wing, where Josh Adams and then a number of forwards are close to getting over for a second Welsh try.

The visitors then recycle possession and switch the play to the right, where they have a huge overlap.

The backs pass the ball along neatly and the finishing touch is applied by Taulupe Faletau in the corner.

Dan Biggar misses a tough conversion from the touchline.

    Italy 0-10 Wales

A first glimpse of Louis Rees-Zammit today.

The electric young Wales wing kicks ahead on the right flank but his chip is intercepted by Italy full-back Jacopo Trulla, before the ball is bundled into touch for a Wales line-out.

Rees-Zammit, or Rees Lightning as he's known by some, is absolutely rapid. What an exciting player.

  6. Great start from Walespublished at 14:29 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    Italy 0-10 Wales

    Garin Jenkins
Former Wales international on BBC Radio Wales

Great boldness from Wales there after a solid set piece.

Great width from that first phase and it was a walkover for Josh Adams.

    What a start.

  7. Postpublished at 12 mins

    Italy 0-10 Wales

Carlo Canna tries a little grubber kick behind the Welsh defence - as he did to excellent effect last autumn - but Liam Williams is wise to it as he sweeps up and gives Wales the chance to clear.

  8. Postpublished at 11 mins

    Italy 0-10 Wales

Italy respond well to conceding that try, as they work their way into the Welsh half.

Wales concede a penalty at a ruck and Paolo Garbisi kicks the penalty into touch inside Wales' 22.

  9. Italy doing what you'd expectpublished at 14:27 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    Italy 0-10 Wales

    Garin Jenkins
Former Wales international on BBC Radio Wales

As you'd expect from Italy, the big forwards carrying.

Cannone and Sisi doing well in the boiler house.

  11. try

Converted try - Italy 0-10 Walespublished at 8 mins

    Josh Adams

Wales opt for a scrum from that penalty inside the Italian 22.

It's a great attacking platform and Wales make the most of it, shifting the ball wide to the left wing, where Josh Adams finishes well in the corner.

Dan Biggar, who played the decisive pass to Adams, converts.

What a great start for Wales.

  12. Sin-bin - Luca Bigipublished at 7 mins

    Italy 0-3 Wales

Dan Biggar is so good in the air.

The Wales fly-half plucks the ball from the sky just outside the Italian 22 and Wales are on the attack.

Ken Owens carries powerfully out wide on the left, before locks Alun Wyn Jones and Cory Hill do so in a more central position.

Scrum-half Gareth Davies then takes a quick penalty but he is hauled back by Italy captain Luca Bigi who wasn't back 10 metres.

Hooker Bigi goes into the bin and Wales have a penalty inside the Italian 22.

  13. Postpublished at 5 mins

    Italy 0-3 Wales

Italy have their first spell of possession, and they're going through the phases near the halfway line and looking to play with width.

They play with a little too much width in the end and the ball goes out for a Wales line-out.

  14. Great expectations for Walespublished at 14:20 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    Italy 0-3 Wales

    Tom Shanklin
Former Wales international on BBC Radio Wales

These Wales players will be nervous about today.

It's a game that you should win, that you're expected to win, you should put a lot of points on Italy

The expectation is there and, no matter what people say, they'll be thinking about the Grand Slam.

  15. Penalty - Italy 0-3 Walespublished at 3 mins

    Dan Biggar

It's a beautiful kick from Biggar, and that's the ideal start for Wales.

Also, quite a nice change not to hear music playing inside the stadium after those points are scored.

  16. Postpublished at 3 mins

    Italy 0-0 Wales

Wales' backs get an early chance to get their hands on the ball from that scrum and Italy concede the game's first penalty.

It's only a few yards inside the Italian half but it looks like Dan Biggar will have a kick at goal here.

    We're up and running!

  20. Anthem timepublished at 14:13 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    Italy v Wales (14:15 GMT)

As ever, Ken Owens and Alun Wyn Jones giving Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau absolutely everything they've got.

Now for the Italian national anthem. What a belter!
