After a quiet start to the tour, Tom Curry is cementing his place in the Test team this evening.

Conor Murray lines up forwards at the ruck, an Eben Etzebeth shield if you will, and gets his box-kick away.

But the Springboks are straight back at the Lions just inside the opposition half.

Zander Fagerson gets in trouble for coming in at the side and South Africa briefly play advantage before being awarded a penalty.

Morne Steyn kicks to the corner, seeking another try to surely seal their victory.

South Africa recently spent six weeks isolating in their hotel rooms but their fitness seems to be holding up well enough as we near the final 10 minutes.

Faf de Klerk puts an excellent kick over the top for Sbu Nkosi, but Elliot Daly scrambles incredibly well to clear the Lions' lines and further cement his Test chances.

Lions continue to have dominance in possession as they have had 69% to SA's 31%.

The Lions have had a whopping 108 carries while SA have 38. Warren Gatland's men have made 262 metres to SA's 183.

But this stat probably explains the scoreboard: SA have made 106 tackles with 83% success and the Lions have made 58 tackles with 94% success.

A win here would be huge psychologically for the Lions. Knowing they can come from behind against a Test-quality Springbok outfit.

They will have to take every opportunity if they are going to come away with victory though.

South Africa get their maul rolling and it is seemingly impossible to stop them.

Faf de Klerk decides to bring an end to things with a box-kick and he wins the Springboks a line-out.

The TMO says Louis Rees-Zammit was playing the ball on the floor because after he reached out he moved the ball backwards.

Another attacking opportunity goes begging for the Lions.

Rees-Zammit's first touch comes up short and he lifts it to put it back down again.

The referee thinks there's too long between the two movements by the sounds of it.

Louis Rees-Zammit looked like he had space on the left but suddenly there were green shirts everywhere.

He stretches to his absolute limit, but it may not be far enough. The TMO will take a look.
