It's something Eddie Jones has been going on about for ages - the impact of the bench.

We saw how valuable it is with the Lions replacements being able to close out the game.

Andrew: Are we absolutely sure that AWJ is human? Yes, he tired and his impact waned as the game grew on, but to play a Test match of this intensity one month after a shoulder dislocation is nothing short of staggering. With the added bullseye as captain on his back too.

I thought Itoje was out of this world. He is a different level and I thought Alun Wyn Jones was brilliant, he went 80 minutes.

There were a load of heroes out there today. They should enjoy every pat on the back they get.

I don't think the Lions got lucky. They deserved to win the match. They got lucky with a few decisions.

If a player had been spoken about all week, whether he can step up, that's gong to affect a player.

TMO's are human beings and pressure gets to everyone. I'm not saying he had a bad game but it must have had an impact on him.

Ugo Monye has been speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live about how South African television match official Marius Jonker held up under the pressure after being called in as a late replacement. The decision was thought to have made the Lions furious during the week.

Do you know what it's been a week of building into the crescendo of kick-off.

That Lions team built and got better the longer the game went on. South Africa ran out of puff... You don't want to live in an environment of excuses, the circumstances are the same circumstances for both teams.

It's near impossible, if you lose that first Test away you're unlikely to win the tour.

"There's another two games to go," says Lions captain Alun Wyn Jones in his post-match interview on Sky.

Just in case anyone was getting over-excited.

The Lions celebrations are still going on down on the touchline.

It seems like every player and member of staff has to hug each other before this will be over. Ok, hugging done, they're now gathered in a big huddle and there is some sort of clapping ceremony.
