Marcus Smith looks to inject a bit of pace into the game but he is tackled.

Italy skipper Michele Lamaro is over the ball quickly and denies Smith from releasing on the ground.

As the two rise to their feet they share a smile with each other. Italy have the penalty.

AP: Jones' continued selection of Youngs is going to leave England horribly exposed come the 2023 World Cup. His ratio of good/poor games is getting worse. What is the point in playing the likes of Smith, Slade, Marchant etc if the service is going to be so slow..

Italy surge forward but England get over the ball at the breakdown and win the penalty.

Smart work by Luke Cowan-Dickie, who will be wanting to make amends after his game-changing mistake at Murrayfield.

Solid defending from England and creative play from Italy, but if there is more than one phase on the trot then Italy struggle to maintain momentum.

    That's the line.

Juan Ignacio Brex arcs his run to smash onto a flat pass and gain valuable yards for the Azzurri.

With their tails up, Italy move the ball and England skipper Tom Curry is offside.

It's kicked to touch and Italy will have the line-out close to England's line.

Can they register their first points of the game?

A first error for the otherwise impressive Marcus Smith.

He takes the ball to the line but spills the forward as he takes the tackle.

England have just taken their foot off the gas, it seems, after claiming the bonus point.

Paolo Garbisi has shown glimpses this afternoon, but his attempted chip is too long there and it goes straight into touch.

He just drops his head as he walks back into position. It's been one of those days for the hosts.

Matt Baird: Incredibly poor choice taking off Harry Randall. He's been one of England's brilliant performers today, and Youngs is just too slow at the breakdown. Hopefully much more to see from this young man!

A game to remember for Ben Youngs, but that will be a moment to forget.

The replacement scrum-half knocks on as he attempts to pick the ball up from the base of the ruck.

He acknowledges his mistake and his team-mates reassure him with a pat on the back.

Harry Randall has brought energy to England, he has had a good platform to play off, looked alive and while a couple of kicks could have been better for a first start, away from home, he's done pretty well.

    Breaking

    And that's English rugby history.

Ben Youngs comes on to equal the record for the most capped England men's player.

Cap number 114 draws him level with former prop Jason Leonard.

He's on for Harry Randall, while Sam Simmonds is also on for Nick Isiekwe.

Maro Itoje is off the line quickly and he takes man and ball as he manages to rip it off the Azzurri.

With the ball loose, Charlie Ewels tries to pick it up but ends up knocking on.

    Itoje's excellent work is undone.

England start to throw the ball around a bit more but a knock on relinquishes possession.

Italy claim the loose ball and Monty Ioane scampers clear along the wing.

He is dragged down by Freddie Steward but Italy have the penalty as England are then offside.

Lovely pass from Smith, but once that scrum has crumpled it is almost a passing drill. It's four on three, Smith has three options but he picks the right pass and it was a nice delivery.

    Bonus point in the bag.

This is as simple a try as you will ever see in the Six Nations.

England win the scrum and the ball is fed to Marcus Smith. He holds onto it long enough to draw in the Italian defence before firing a wonderful flat pass to Elliot Daly.

The replacement winger runs in unopposed and that is try number four.

The only negative for England is Smith just pushes his conversion wide.

Genge moves differently, he has a strut about him. He was sat up for a minute but now he seems alright.

Kyle Sinckler has made an immediate impact after being introduced from the bench.

The England front-row are too powerful for their opposite numbers as they win the scrum penalty against the head.

The visitors will have the put-in from five metres out.

Eddie Jones promised pace and Harry Randall shows why he is in the team.

The ball is fed to the scrum-half after the line-out and he skins the defender with ease.

He is eventually tackled and England move it wide, but Ellis Genge is judged to have thrown the ball forward to Kyle Sinckler.

    Let off for the Azzurri.

A let off for Marcus Smith as Italy's front row are penalised for collapsing in the scrum.

The ball is smashed into touch and England will have the line-out.
