    Gareth Griffiths

Wales had talked all week about not making a slow start away from home again but that's exactly what has happened through more indiscipline.

They lost the ball from the kick-off and have allowed Marcus Smith to open the scoring with two penalties.

There's no Manu Tuilagi around for Marcus Smith to send over the ganline, but Freddie Steward has a good go.

Wales are penalised at the breakdown again and Harry Randall tries to take the penalty quickly but is called back.

Nick: Once again Jones has robbed Gloucester of Atkinson with no intention of playing him in the squad! How is that fair?

    England 0-0 Wales

    A relief for Wales.

Charlie Ewels is penalised and the visitors dash back at their opponents with just as much verve and vigour.

But no, Wales have been penalised now. These first two minutes have looked like they're on fast-forward.

It looks like Marcus Smith will go for three points. Grateful for the rest already to be honest.

Owen Watkin spills the ball and England pounce on it.

They're already barraging the red wall, within 10m of the tryline.

The atrmosphere is crackling here. A century of rivalry backed by bleeding-edge beats and the smell of pyro.

Now, can the players match the pre-match hype?

Why goes Eddie Jones persist with Daly. Failed as a full back, failed as a winger and failed as a centre. Good long range goal kicker though. Must be a new tactical plan somewhere

Kyle Sinckler is out first for England as he celebrates his 50th cap. Ben Youngs follows, given he will break Jason Leonard's men's record of 114 England caps if he comes on off the bench.

Courtney Lawes leads the rest of the team out.

Both sides take a moment to condemn what is happening in Ukraine, recognise Rugby Against Racism and remember the life of Jack Jeffery, who died after playing for his club Evesham.

  20. Randall's Welsh educationpublished at 16:38 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2022

    England v Wales (16:45 GMT)

Harry Randall is causing some confusion in west Wales this afternoon.

He earned many fans in the area growing up as a young rugby talent there, but today he'll hope to end the country's Six Nations chances with an England win.

Earlier this week, I spoke to Iestyn Thomas, his old school coach at Llandovery College - where Alun Wyn Jones and George North are also former pupils.

Take a look to find out why people were nervous about him playing against older boys and whether he'll have any qualms playing against Wales.
