    A great try for Wales.

And that's much more like it from Wales!

They go through the phases patiently in Italy's 22, with Dan Biggar playing a few nice inside passes.

The killer ball comes from Taulupe Faletau, who releases Owen Watkin and the centre sidesteps his way through.

    Biggar converts and Wales lead.

Italy clear again, into the Welsh half.

Why are you looking for the miss pass there when you've got extra men in the backline?

That's should have been a walk-in for Wales.

Louis Rees-Zammit very nearly provides that inspiration with a superb arcing run into the Italian 22.

The wing is eventually stopped and, although Willis Halaholo knocks on, Wales have a penalty advantage.

They take the penalty quickly but Dewi Lake fails to tap the ball and Italy have a scrum under their posts.

    That's poor from Lake.

Italy's scrum holds firm and they clear to touch outside their 22.

Wales have a line-out in a decent attacking position. They need a moment of inspiration.

That pass was dying on Rees-Zammit there from McNicholll there.

He was trying to give the speedster one on one there with the new Italian cap.

That's a missed opportunity by Wales.

There's a break in play before Italy's scrum as a couple of players receive treatment.

    Everyone seems fine to continue.

You see how bunched up the Italian defence are.

Wales just need to hold the inside there to hold them and get it wide.

Another chance goes begging for Wales as Rees-Zammit knocks on as he stretches forward trying to catch Johnny McNicholl's pass.

It's an excellent kick from Edoardo Padovani, and the ball sails over from 40 metres.

    Wales 0-3 Italy

Danilo Fischetti gets the pats on the back from his Italy team-mates after the prop forces a turnover penalty, with Seb Davies not releasing.

It's on the other side of the pitch, a similar distance to the first penalty and it looks like wing Edoardo Padovani will have another shot at goal.
