Thank you for joining us from Cardiff Arms Park, as France kept their Grand Slam hopes alive with a five-try win over Wales.

Wales did get a try of their own with the final move of the match, Sioned Harries crossing over to give the cold but vocal home crowd something to celebrate.

Laure Sansus (2), Chloe Jacquet, Caroline Boujard and Jessy Tremouliere crossed for France, with Tremouliere successful with four conversions.

Wales finish the campaign against Italy with third-place still in their hands, while France face England in a mouth-watering encounter.

Once again, thanks for joining us, and enjoy the rest of your evening and the rest of the Women's Six Nations action this weekend.

Wales captain Siwan Lillicrap: "They did put us under pressure, we conceded four tries in half an hour and they were playing well.

"But in that second half and particularly the last 10 minutes, we showed more of what we're about. We've got to try and do that for a full 80.

"We've got to start better but we're showing glimpses of what we can do. If we can string more of that together, and put an end to those slow starts, we can go from a good team to a great team."

We could say France took their foot off the gas a bit in that second half but in the first, that was a lesson in how to play rugby.

They took all their opportunities, whereas Wales will be disappointed with their discipline.

They had a couple of chances for scores where their accuracy just let them down, but take nothing away from France - they looked a classy side tonight.

It was a far better half for Wales. They just stuck to their own game and that last try means they will leave the game on a high.

Yes they'll be gutted with the score, but they're playing against the third best in the world.

You want to be challenging yourselves against these teams and you can see how much just that one try meant to the girls.

They are on a journey but they are getting so much better.

France's Grand Slam hopes are still alive as they claim a bonus-point win over Wales.

Player of the match Laure Sansus scored two first-half tries as France dominated the opening 40 minutes.

Chloe Jacquet's brilliant break and Caroline Boujard's try sealed a bonus-point before the interval.

Wales improved after the break, and matched France for tries in the second half.

Jessy Tremouliere scored the visitors' fifth try before Wales replacement back-row Sioned Harries scored with the final move of the game.

Still plenty to work on for the now-professional Wales, but take nothing away from France.

They face England in the final game in a potential Grand-Slam decider.

    Sioned Harries

They have been second best for the significant part of the evening, but Wales have the try their hard-work deserved.

The driving maul, which has been one of Wales' best weapons in this tournament, is the key once again.

Replacement number eight Sioned Harries does really well to stretch over the line and keep control throughout.

    The crowd loves it.

Wales think they have scored, as the forwards jump in the air.

The officials want to look at it, did Sioned Harries have control of the ball as she went over?

The coaches will be pleased with the second half performance because it could have very easily unravelled.

But Wales have looked more like themselves. They'll be disappointed that the set-piece hasn't functioned but they can take a lot from this performance.

But Wales will know they have been second best throughout this game. France have been so clinical.

France win back possession on their own 22 and kick the ball clear to halfway, Niamh Terry steps a tackle and makes her way up to the French 10-metre line.

It's slow ball for Wales again as the ball is trapped in the ruck, and referee Maggie Cogger-Orr signals for a Welsh scrum.

As has been a theme of the evening, the French dominate at the set-piece and win the penalty.

France are just putting up a blue wall of defence, it's so hard for Wales to break through.

Wales were looking dangerous but now they look like they're just waiting for France to make a mistake.

The game has just gone into a bit of a lull.

If Wales keep their discipline, they have a chance to finish the game positively because France tend to start well, get the win and then shut up shop, as we're seeing now.
