    Wales 0-19 France

It should be a fourth try for France, they break clear from the restart, with multiple players involved in perfectly executed offloads.

But with French players queuing up on the right the final ball is knocked on and out of bounds.

    A let off for Wales.

Wales started that passage of play superbly but that's just a moment of brilliance from Chloe Jacquet.

The footwork, the change of pace - what a finish.

    Chloe Jacquet

A brilliant counter from the French full-back.

Wales win a penalty at the breakdown and quickly put boot to ball.

The clearing kick is caught by Chloe Jacquet in her own half, she plays a pass to Romane Menager and collects the return pass before sprinting clear to score a third French try.

Jessy Tremouliere misses the conversion - apologies for cursing her - and France extend their lead to 19.

    Wales 0-14 France

France move the ball quickly to the left wing but Marine Menager knocks the ball forward.

There's a little bit of afters between the two sets of players, led by Sioned Harries, but it's quickly calmed down by the officials.

Today's TMO Olly Hodges speaks to referee Maggie Cogger-Orr, and she in turns speaks to the respective captains to warn them about their behaviour.

No cards on this occasion however, and it's a Welsh scrum.

It's great to see Wales having a bit of momentum there.

Sioned Harries being able to ship the ball out wide to the wingers, and allowing them to get some phases together, will just give them a bit of confidence and get into some rhythm.

    Wales 0-14 France

Wales put together a few phases will ball in hand for the first time this evening but the ball is eventually knocked on and France have a penalty just inside the Welsh half.

To highlight just how big a challenge this evening is for Wales, France have come out on top in 17 of their 20 head-to-head meetings.

Wales' last win? Back in 2016 when they won 10-8.

I think Wales are better off trying to get the ball out wide early, try and get it to Lisa Neumann for a clean exit.

That'll ask more questions of France, because at the moment Wales are just playing the ball right into their hands.

That's unlucky for Jas. She did really well to get there but she has so much ground to cover because of the way France draw in the Wales defence.

    Caroline Boujard, con Jessy Tremouliere

Jasmine Joyce does her best to prevent the try but Caroline Boujard has maintained possession off the ball in the air and extends France's lead.

She suffers a heavy fall in the process but touches the ball down as she rolls over onto her front.

The conversion from the tightest possible angle is perfectly taken by Jessy Tremouliere, who has scored all nine she has taken this competition.

    Wales 0-7 France

The defensive penalties against Wales are adding up, and they are being warned by referee Maggie Cogger-Orr.

Laura Sansus uses the advantage to try a cross-field kick for Caroline Boujard, the French wing appears to ground the ball but the officials want to check with the TMO.

It's obviously a blow for Siwan to go off, but Sioned Harries is such an experienced player and that just shows the strength in depth that Wales have now.

There's a brief stoppage in play as Wales captain Siwan Lillicrap receives treatment for a knock.

She heads for the locker room for a HIA, former captain Sioned Harries is on in her place temporarily at least.

    Wales 0-7 France

Referee Maggie Cogger-Orr initially awards Wales a penalty but changes her decision and France get the decision instead.

At the following French line-out, Wales are again awarded a penalty but this time the decision stands and Elinor Snowsill can clear.

    Wales 0-7 France

France again go for a driving maul, and win a penalty advantage.

Laure Sansus looks for the cross-field kick to Marine Menager but the ball runs out of play and we will go back to the penalty.

France will have the line-out seven metres out.

Former Wales coach on BBC Radio Wales

Wales have got to try and vary their kicking game. They haven't got the power to kick down the ground but can they chip, can they kick cross-field?

They're in a tactical arm-wrestle with France at the moment but it's just playing right into their strengths.

    Wales 0-7 France

It's a little scrappy at the moment, both teams struggling to maintain fluid possession of the ball.

Elinor Snowsill's kick is charged down before France scrum-half Laure Sansus knocks a clearing kick from Kayleigh Powell on.

However France win another penalty at the scrum, and again opt to kick of touch.

France are already showing signs of their class. It's just the way they are dictating the tempo.

Wales are struggling with the driving lineout, they're having to put more players in which leaves gaps for the likes of Sansus as we've just seen.

    Wales 0-7 France

France return the kick-off straight back to Wales but are penalised at the breakdown in Welsh territory and it'll be another scrum for the hosts.

I think the biggest problem there is that it took three Welsh players to take Tremouliere down and it left a space for Sansus.

We've seen her footwork time and time again and she doesn't need much of a gap.

    Laure Sansus, con Jessy Tremouliere

France scrum-half Laura Sansus has her fourth try of the tournament and the visitors are ahead.

Wales once again for the driving maul down but quick ball springs the French backs into action.

Jessy Tremouliere and Gabrielle Combine in midfield before offloading to Sansus who opts to go it alone and it proves the right choice as she crosses under the posts.

    Tremouliere adds the extras.
