It will be interesting to find out why Scotland changed the props. They were solid and then the first thing Ireland do is dominate a scrum and get the penalty and pretty much score from that.

James Lowe is at it again as he hands off Kyle Steyn and gets down his wing, before getting a kick in.

Duhan van der Merwe defends it. And Scotland clear. Ireland on top and putting the pressure on.

Despite all the adversity with injuries, they're rising to the challenge.

Very well deserved. Brilliant play by Ireland that was a perfect box kick by Gibson-Park. Hansen has had a brilliant game and that gave Ireland the forward momentum to score.

    James Lowe

Clinical from the world's best team.

It all starts from a Jamison Gibson-Park box kick, which is claimed by Mack Hansen and he offloads to Johnny Sexton.

That gets them close, and after a few attempts at the line it goes to the left wing for Lowe to finish.

It goes back to that scrum, too. Brilliant. Sexton nails a difficult conversion too.

Scotland are not making their territory pay at the moment.

Finn Russell throws a forward pass to let Ireland off the hook. Gregor Townsend uses the bench as props Jamie Bhatti and Simon Berghan come on for Pierre Schoeman and Zander Fagerson.

Jamison Gibson-Park replaces Conor Murray at scrum-half for Ireland. A quality replacement.

You can tell the crowd are 100% behind their team today. With three players off already Ireland won't have that usual impact off the bench later on. Whoever starts the second half the strongest could run away with it.
