    Huge moment in the game.

A clearing kick by Sale full-back Joe Carpenter is charged down on the edge of the 22.

The maroon shirts scramble back but Sarries get the turnover and it's spread wide to the left to Elliot Daly.

The winger doesn't need a second invitation and beats Rob du Preez for pace to touch down in the corner.

Tough kick wide on the left and Owen Farrell can't add the extras. It's a three-point game as Sarries edge back ahead.

Another nervy moment for Tom O'Flaherty who fails to gather a pass at the first attempt and is then enveloped by Duncan Taylor.

The Sale wing does well to keep hold of the ball before his forwards arrive to help him.

The Sharks clear to halfway and there's a brief break as a few players take on water and catch their breath.

It's a hot day and there is so little between these sides. Just 15 minutes until we know the champions...

There has been a noticeable difference in pace since Raffi Quirke came on.

It's only marginal but he just seems to be getting the ball away quicker.

Even though it didn't work it's a smart choice to go for the kick with Elliot Daly on the field, he has a massive left boot.

Sale have to be careful not to concede penalties in and around halfway as it might be a cheap three points to give away with Daly on the field.

A massive, massive cheer from the Sale fans as a Rob du Preez kick bounces up and over Elliot Daly and into touch in the Sarries 22.

It's a 50-22 as well, so Sale have the throw at the line-out.

  12. Missed penalty - Elliot Dalypublished at 57 mins

    Saracens 23-25 Sale

Having brought on Elliot Daly in the first half, Saracens have an extra long-range option with the boot from the kicking tee.

He takes on the kick from the halfway line in the centre of the field.

No problem with the distance, but he drags it to the right of the sticks.

A let-off for Sale but a marker that Sarries want to get back in front as soon as possible.

Whatever Alex Sanderson said to his players at half-time has so far worked.

Bevan Rodd's try has given Sale the lead for the first time during this match and it's really galvanised the crowd inside Twickenham, as well as shifted all the momentum his team's way.

The Sale fans can really sense their team could be on to something special this afternoon if they can keep this up.

How do Sale manage this situation now?

Saracens have plenty of Premiership final experience and this is where it might tell.

Owen Farrell looks to release Elliot Daly with a kick to the left flank but Tom O'Flaherty gets a touch to the ball and sends it out.

But Saracens head an advantage so we'll head back for a penalty on halfway.

Two outstanding bits of play from Bevan Rodd. He up picked the ball and went right, then he got on the end of it for a really good try. He's the super sub at the minute.

It's a really good game for the neutral. This game is opening up massively. If I was Sale I'd keep this tempo very high now - Sarries will want to slow it down.

It's been an excellent few minutes for Sale. They are looking on top.

You have to take three all day long there.

That is the tension and the feeling that you can only get when you are on the field.

Saracens know how close this game is going to be and every point is going to be vital.
