Will: Can we just admit that as well as Samoa are playing, some of the England team aren't up to the job?

Anon: In the Stadium and England are atrocious. Ford and Farrell simply does not work. Marchant and May are slow.

Anon: Appalling, just appalling. We haven't looked like a half decent team all year apart from vs Argentina, and even then it was a one man show. Appalling.

When you are under pressure you have got to do what you are good at because everyone knows what they are doing and it will bring calmness.

In the big moments that is when you have got to pull together.

Anon: One word for England rugby: embarrassing.

Andy: England just have no ability in attack. No accuracy, no skill, no plan. Is this the Borthwick way?

Samoa barge through a tackle with hooker Sama Malolo and then it's all hands to the pump. Two or three times it looks certain to be a try but England then win the ball back with a great effort. Could be a big stop!

Even as an England fan I've got to admit Samoa deserve the lead. They're doing a much better job of working together and creating opportunities.

The mood is pretty mutinous in the stands among Samoa fans and, in greater numbers, the underdog-leaning locals.

Andrew Brace's decision to disallow that try was whistled long and loud. The perceived injustice is fuelling Samoa. And England are on the ropes.

    They could do with half-time.

Electric wing play once again from Nigel Ah-Wong as he touches down in the corner, has he got a first-half hat-trick?!

No, he's just in touch. But that was brilliant.

After a very lengthy delay the try is chalked off for a knock on by Tumua Manu. Three players went up and touched the ball, that seems harsh to me. But a let-off for England for sure.

    An absolute dog's dinner.

Alex Mitchell spoons a box kick straight up into the air, it lands in a melee of bodies and is knocked backwards, one more bounce and it falls kindly for full-back Duncan Paia'aua to stroll in unopposed. Woeful.

A tough kick is missed by Lima Sopoaga.

The kick itself was a couple of metres too deep, but it was asking a lot of Ah-Wong. He absolutely nailed it.

I am in awe of players who have skills like that.
