  1. goal

GOAL Rangers 1-0 Celticpublished at 12 mins

    Kenny Miller

    Rangers hit the front.

It all came from an uncharacteristic error from Celtic defender Erik Sviatchenko, who surrendered possession just outside his own penalty area.

Josh Windass carves open the Celtic defence with a clever pass to the on-rushing James Tavernier who squares for Kenny Miller to tap home from two yards out.

Even at 37 years old Miller remains the man for the big occasion.

    Rangers 0-0 Celtic

Scott Sinclair catches the Rangers defence unawares to get on the end of a Mikael Lustig free-kick but drags his shot wide of the post.

  20. No Wallace for Rangers, Dembele starts for Celticpublished at 11:44 Greenwich Mean Time 31 December 2016

    Rangers v Celtic (12:15)

The big news for Rangers is the absence of captain Lee Wallace who misses out through injury.

For Celtic much of the pre-match discussion has centred on whether Brendan Rodgers would name Moussa Dembele or Leigh Griffiths up front, and it's the Frenchman who gets the nod.

Give us your thoughts on the line-ups. How big a blow is the loss of Lee Wallace for Rangers? Is Dembele ahead of Griffiths the right move for Celtic?
