  1. 'If Joe produces his best, he can win'published at 13:14 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January 2017

Joe's father Peter Perry on BBC Two: "Joe has had some great matches with Ronnie over the years. Ronnie has won the majority but Joe has beaten him before, including at the UK Championship.

"He can do it. If he starts producing his best then he can win the match."

  2. 'Zero percent thinks Perry can win'published at 13:13 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January 2017

    Stephen Hendry
Seven-time world champion on BBC Two

Probably zero percent of the snooker world think Joe will win and possibly, apart from his family of course, even Joe himself.

He has to trust his ability and come out and try to enjoy the occasion and then he has a chance.

Ronnie will want to win, he has tremendous desire and will want to do it with style, and that brings its own pressure.
