    Hope for Higgins by winning the 26th, then he is immediately put in his place by Selby, whose break of 71 helps him to a 15-12 lead.

    The winning line is closing in for Selby. He needs three more. Glory seems a long, long way off for the Scot though.

    I was wondering two years ago [about John Higgins], I thought his long game was struggling and he was lacking confidence but he’s found it from somewhere. 

    His long game is still good, his competitive spirit... well that’s never been in doubt and his match play has always been top class.

    Maybe there is still life in this frame after all. Higgins is 45 ahead, there is 51 on the table and an ambitious two-ball plant stays out.

    It is an uphill task for Selby as he is 22-67 down, but we are not finished in frame 26 yet.

    Shot E: Shaun Murphy for his brilliant two-cushion trick-shot to pot a red in the middle pocket during his second-round match against Ronnie O'Sullivan.

    Mark Selby, who won last year's vote and had four nominations in the shortlist this year, came second and third with 8% and 7% respectively.
