    Frame 12: O’Sullivan 8-3 Wilson

Ronnie O'Sullivan is taking his time as he tries to lay another snooker attempt. Normally his thinking time on a couple of these shots would equate to the time it'd take him to make a break of 50 or more.

Nothing doing though and now Kyren Wilson sends the green trickling into the bottom left corner. That's it surely?

    No. On we go.

    Frame 12: O’Sullivan 8-3 Wilson

Ronnie O'Sullivan lays a snooker on the green after knocking in a couple of reds and colours. He is is 27 points back with 25 on the table.

Kyren Wilson is up behind the brown with the blue, pink and black in the line of the object ball. Big shot this.

But that's magnificent, he plays it with swerve down off the bottom cushion and it comes up and kisses the green flush.

Wilson is absolutely desperate to win this frame but just can't put it away.

    Frame 12: O’Sullivan 8-3 Wilson

Kyren Wilson is making a decent fist of this. The sound of balls dropping into pockets is so much nicer than having to sit and watch your opponent.

He's up to 50 with Ronnie O'Sullivan needing a snooker but then misses on the black.

    This one ain't over yet.

    Frame 12: O’Sullivan 8-3 Wilson

That goes down as one Kyren would normally pot.

He's got his work cut out here but it looks like he's thinking clearly as he then plays an exemplary safety to leave Ronnie O'Sullivan tucked up on the top cushion.

Another chance to put this frame to bed incoming.

    Frame 12: O’Sullivan 8-3 Wilson

    John Parrott
1991 world champion on BBC Two

That pocket is definitely playing harder than the other one - I don't know why?

    Frame 12: O’Sullivan 8-3 Wilson

Talk about having a run of the balls. A long safety from Ronnie O'Sullivan rolls up behind the yellow leaving Kyren Wilson with a one-cushion escape.

Hitting the pink was probably not part of the plan though. Ronnie is in again but rattles a tricky black down the rail into in the jaws of the bottom right pocket.

Good chance for Kyren to build some momentum here.

Yousaf: Considering his form today & being 8-2 down, what a fantastic 92 break that was. Hopefully clicks into some form.

Raffles: Don’t be surprised if Kyren runs a few off here.

    Frame 12: O’Sullivan 8-3 Wilson

    Steve Davis
Six-time world champion on BBC Two

The danger is, if you haven't got the strength of character, you can, especially with a crowd, start to feel embarrassed.

You feel like you are not making it an event and you know that people in the crowd are willing you to do well and it makes it even harder.

That was a great frame to win.

    Frame 12: O’Sullivan 8-3 Wilson

    Ken Doherty
1997 world champion on BBC Two

That was a great break under pressure. It shows he has that character and spirit that you need in sport to drag yourself out of a hole.

It took a lot of courage and he showed that with the positive shots he played.

    Frame 11: O’Sullivan 8-3 Wilson

How good will that feel for Kyren Wilson after losing the last five frames?

A break of 92 brings up his first of the evening session.

  13. Postpublished at 20:31 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Frame 11: O’Sullivan 8-2 Wilson

This is the best Kyren Wilson has looked. He's up to 60 and on the way to his highest break of the match so far.

Luke: The way it's going we could have a repeat of 1989 when Steve Davis thrashed John Parrott 18-3.

Let's hope it is not done that quickly Luke. A friend of mine had tickets for the final session of that one and ended up watching an exhibition.

    Frame 11: O’Sullivan 8-2 Wilson

Did I type that too soon. Kyren Wilson plays a superb long red at dead weight to hold for the black and then knocks in another couple of tough pots.

Is this the start of a revival?

  16. Postpublished at 20:24 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Frame 11: O’Sullivan 8-2 Wilson

Former Master champion Alan McManus has just been on saying how Ronnie O'Sullivan is there for the taking.

And normally I'd agree. It looks like he's experimenting out there at the moment but Kyren Wilson just can't get anything going.

  17. Postpublished at 20:21 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Frame 10: O’Sullivan 8-2 Wilson

    John Parrott
1991 world champion on BBC Two

Ronnie O'Sullivan is playing no risk and winning snooker. He's going to carry on with it as the scoreline is looking very pretty for him at the moment. He thinks he's got his man.

  18. Postpublished at 20:20 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Frame 10: O'Sullivan 7-2 Wilson

This is going from bad to worse for Kyren Wilson.

An attempted safety is a little thin and Ronnie steps up and knocks in a pretty tough red with a trace of side. The five-time champion makes 51 before his break ends.

But that's plenty to add another frame to his tally.

Ross Jeffries: Worrying signs for Kyren Wilson. He just cannot get settled. Shame, he is worthy of winning this as he certainly has the ability to do so.

Mayo: Kyren's head has gone. Desperate for him to have a good showing here but the occasion - and maybe some hangover from yesterday - is weighing on him. You can't make this many mistakes in a world championship final and not get severely punished.

Snooker Bunny: Come on Kyren you can do so much better than this.

  20. Postpublished at 20:16 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Frame 10: O'Sullivan 7-2 Wilson

Ronnie O'Sullivan knocks in a long red but then the white comes round the table and lands in the top corner pocket.

Pretty much sums up this frame.

Kyren Wilson responds with an excellent pot on a red but then can't get position after knocking in a black.
