The next award is the Greatest Sporting Moment of the Year.
The five nominees were open for a public vote, which closed at 20:00 GMT on Friday, 14 December 2018.
This is a new award which celebrates some of the best moments of the year. The nominees included;
England's historic commonwealth netball gold
England's penalty shootout win in the World Cup
Alastair Cook's farewell century
Tiger Woods' first win in five years
Tyson Fury's fightback from knockdowns
England captain Ama Agbeze is delivering a wonderful speech and she says the netball team are "overwhelmed" by the support they have received this year.
She adds: "Just how football was coming home, we hope Netball came home."

It has been the greatest year in England Netball history. Winning is always a great achievement, but winning against the odds, against a team who have dominated the sport since its inception with fellow trans-Tasman side New Zealand, is more than that.
England beating Australia with a literal last-gasp goal, to snatch Commonwealth Games-gold from the Diamonds in their own back yard is the ultimate win in netball. Tracey Neville's squad showed grit, skill & togetherness to see-off the world's top side.
And now the Team of the Year will be announced.

"We all go into championships with our own expectations, hopes and dreams.
"As we know about sport and track and field, we don't know if that's going to happen. I was just hoping I could listen to my coach, do my team proud on that day and I was very happy to have achieved that.
"When I came home from Berlin, because you're in a bit of a bubble, you turn off your social media and focus on the task at hand.
"Then you get home and everyone in the street is stopping you and saying well done you think: 'you were watching, really?
"It's the reception that really resonated with me and I hope it can continue."
