Lewis Capaldi is back on stage to pay respects to those involved in sport who sadly passed away this year.
The VT begins with a child opening a comic book, looking through the story of how the host nation Japan overachieved and the South African captain created history.
Owen Farrell smirking at the All Blacks' Haka features too. Brilliant, this.
Moving on to rugby.
English hearts were broken in the World Cup final but what a day it was for South Africa, led by their captain Siya Kolisi.
Kolisi became the first black captain to lift the trophy for his country - a momumtous moment for a nation that had so much division during the Apartheid. One of the biggest highlights of the year.

Lucy Bronze speaking to BBC One: "Women's football is on the rise and this year was the biggest year we've ever had. Not just the viewers, but the games were amazing. It's been a fantastic year, long may it continue. I don't think this is the end of us, this is just the beginning.
"Team GB have the best chance of everyone at the Olympics. If you combine the nations together, I feel we've got a great chance of winning it. We go there as one of the favourites."
Now it's another 'review of the year' VT before a final call to vote for your Sports Personality of the Year.
Around 10 minutes left!
"I don't think this is the end, I think it's the beginning for us," says Lucy Bronze.
"Team GB has the best chance out of anyone," she adds when asked about the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
What a year it's been for England international Lucy Bronze. European Player of the Year, World Cup Silver Ball, part of the Fifa FifPro World XI and second place in the Ballon d'Or.
She's having a chat with Gabby Logan now so here's that screamer she scored against Norway in the World Cup quarter-final.
Not long left now!

BBC Sport at the P&J Live Arena
The full audience was on its feet again for Baroness Grey-Thompson and quite right too. A true legend.
Here's that heart-warming moment when Dina Asher-Smith presented her coach John Blackie with the Coach of the Year Award.
Here's that performance Matthew was talking about earlier. Football freestylers, who are also dancers, and Emile Sande - what more could you want?
"Is it enough to play in the greatest Women's World Cup we've ever seen?" she kicks thing off with.
Her answer is no.
Megan Rapinoe.
Icon, inspiration, legend. The USA striker picked up the Golden Boot, Golden Ball and the Player of the Match awards after scoring in the World Cup final, which her team won for a second successive tournament.
It doesn't get much bigger than that. This VT celebrates Pinoe and her teammates' tournament, along with England's run to the semi-finals and the impact the event has had on women's football as a whole.
Rapinoe herself is giving a powerful speech in the background about empowerment. Gamechanger.
This was what Liverpool full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold tweeted the next morning after that Champions League final. Inspirational stuff!

Baroness Grey-Thompson speaking to BBC One: "I never thought as a young Welsh girl, when I had a dream, of actually playing rugby, when I was watching this night on TV that I'd be sat in the audience, let alone on the stage.
"Growing up, I tried multiple sports, but I was so fortunate that I found something that I love and became good at it. There were so many people, volunteers, who gave up their time and I wouldn't be here without them so thank you so much.
"For young people today we have to make sure they have an opportunity to get active and play sport."
"Twenty years ago, Nelson Mandela said sport has the power to change the world. To my friends and family that helped me, thank you for putting up with me."
Tottenham fans, look away. Liverpool fans, turn up the volume. It's a refresh of the Champions League final.
Liverpool picked up their sixth European trophy, cementing their position as England's most successful club in the competition. Jurgen Klopp was fist-pumping everywhere, the streets were full of fans partying and old big ears has been paraded through Liverpool ever since. What a night!

"I never thought that I would be in the audience here, let alone being on the stage tonight," she says.
The legendary David Weir and Sir Steve Redgrave were among those in the VT to speak highly of Baroness Grey-Thompson.
Sir Chris Hoy will present the award on stage as Grey-Thompson is given a standing ovation on her way up to the stage.
