    Alex, Maidenhead: All those saying Sharapova is disappointing please try and respect the opponent instead. Muguruza was little known before this tournament but is playing so well which have shown in the results she has had.

    Sharapova reacts brilliantly to pick up a heavy backhand return and send it back for a winner off the line. That brings up two set points but Muguruza hauls the Russian back to deuce. It's another set point and this time, Sharapova gets it as Bouchard nets. The Spaniard berates herself while Sharapova drops her head, wipesher face and heads to the chair.     Muguruza has read Sharapova's game so well all day, sometimes running for shots which Sharapova hasn't even hit yet, but in this game, the Russian is showing signs of changing it up and as a result gets herself a break point with a stunning backhand down the line. She has the Spaniard running in the next point and eventually forces the error. Sharapova breaks. Can she hold serve to take this match into a decider?

    As Muguruza edges towards yet another huge upset at Roland Garros, a few errors are starting to creep into the her game with Sharapova getting some opportunities. The Russian isn't able to take them, though, and Muguruza throws in an exquisite drop shot on her way to an impressive hold.
