    Eight seed Victoria Azarenka looked to have wrestled control in her match against Bojana Jovanovski when she won the second set 6-3 to force a decider, but the Belarusian has been broken early and trails 2-0.     Kuznetsov, Dan Evans' conqueror in the first round, has won back-to-back grass court matches for the first time in his career.

    Ferrer, the seventh seed from Spain, is sent tumbling out of the tournament.

    Azarenka 3-6 4-1 Jovanovski: Victoria Azarenka is slowly hauling her way back into match. She is a break up in the second.

    Berdych 4-6 7-6 (7-5) 1-2 Tomic: Berdych takes the second set to level up on the board.

    A Barty/C Dellacqua 6-4 5-5 H Watson/ E Bouchard: There is enough collective grit between Heather Watson and Eugenie Bouchard to gravel a stately home driveway. They are still hanging about as the second heads long.

    Could French Open champion Maria Sharapova marry her partner - Bulgarian men's number 11 seed Grigor Dimitrov - after Wimbledon? The 2004 champion says on Facebook, external that she was only thinking of going on holiday with him, but has to deal with a little mickey-taking from her back-up team in an accompanying video.

    She posts: "A little vacation after Wimbledon… turns into talk of marriage… I get no peace!!!"

    "I saw Djokovic years ago playing a first-round match against Gael Monfils at the US Open. He won the match, which was a really tough one, and I remember thinking: 'Wow, this guy's really flexible.' Even as a teenager, he spent a tremendous amount of time working on his flexibility. The other thing he's done so well over the last few years is shore up his serve."

    Radek Stepanek sees off a set point and then makes his way to sealing the game with a cat-like reflex volley. Pure goalkeeping instinct at the net, sticking out a racquet head and guiding away a winner into the open court.

    It's so tight on Court One between Bernard Tomic and sixth seed Tomas Berdych. A Wimbledon finalist in 2010, Berdych has had three opportunities to break but has failed to grasp even a single one.

    Allied to Tomic's 86% first serve success rate, and it's turning into a bit of a slog for the big Czech.

    Into a second-set tie-break we go.

    Novak Djokovic is grinding rather than glorious, but he seems to have got the measure of Radek Stepanek.

    The top seed is a double break up in the second set. Stepanek to serve next, but, call in the administrators, this set might be a write-off.

    Ferrer 7-6 (7-5) 0-6 6-3 3-6 Kuznetsov: David Ferrer has been taken to a fifth set by Andrey Kuznetsov. The Spanish fifth seed would be the biggest men's player to fall if he fails to snuff out Kuznetsova.

    A Barty/C Dellacqua 6-4 3-3 H Watson/ E Bouchard: Heather Watson and Eugenie Bouchard are hanging tough out on court six.

    Novak Djokovic has come out of the second set and wants to stamp out the embers of any Radek Stepanek challenge.

    The top seed is cranking down power with four serves cat gut-stretching power and holds to love.

    Stepanek played some front-court tennis from the stars in the first set, tickling, dabbing and dribbling his way into contention. But still he could stretch the Serb past breaking point.

    Five-time Wimbledon doubles champion Frew McMillan: "Djokovic's tennis has been good without being very good so far today. To win the tournament he will have to do better than this.

    "Being without a Grand Slam for some time (his last was the Australian Open in 2013), Djokovic will be that much more eager to win this tournament. It is a shame for Stepanek that he is behind because he has played some of the better tennis in that opening set."
