Dylan Baker:, external Am I the only one that thinks Murray needs to get his first-serve percentage much higher to challenge Fed, Djokovic, Nadal, etc?

Nathan Smith:, external Murray making Blaz Rola look like an amateur...

Denise:, external Why is Vera Zvonareva wearing a jumper? She must be baking.

  2. GAME AND SECOND SETpublished at 14:12 British Summer Time 25 June 2014

An hour gone, and the second set secured. Rola is winning just 16% of points on his second serve, just one of a number of sorry stats for the Slovenian.

A little sloppiness in the Murray game, setting up a simple volley with textbook groundstrokes only to muff the coup de grace. Warm applause from the supportive crowd as Rola swerves the bagel, and the big man allows himself a grin.

"Radwanska is always a joy to watch - she showed great variety and she is a great thinker and shot-maker on court.

"She looks very comfortable on grass and she is in a nice section of the draw. It is exciting to see her play this well so early on.

"Dellacqua had it in spurts but just wasn't able to push Radwanska."

    Sam Smith
Former British number one on BBC TV

"It's not easy to close out a match, especially when you're a British player at Wimbledon and it's a big-name player at the other end of the court."

Breaks of serve are littering the business end of this set. Tara Moore ties down one of her own service games to love though. Will that give her the confidence to down Vera Zvonareva's in the next?

  8. Andy Murray v Blaz Rolapublished at 14:06 British Summer Time 25 June 2014

    John Lloyd
Former British number one on BBC TV

"It's running away fast from Rola. It's not easy for him. He's tried everything and he's getting no return. You wish you could get a hypnotist to see Rola the night before and say to him: Imagine you're not playing Andy Murray when you look across the net."

Is it better for Murray's championship hopes to face minimal opposition for as long as possible, or to be tested and thus fine-tuned early on? His biggest problem in what remains of this contest is his own concentration - two sloppy forehands delay the inevitable, but a smart overhead taken out of the sun snuffs out any sparks.

  10. Radwanska into the third roundpublished at 14:06 British Summer Time 25 June 2014

Blink and you'd miss it. If you blinked very slowly admittedly. Agnieszka Radwanska wraps up a straightforward win over Casey Dellacqua in 56 minutes.

One of either Michelle Larcher De Brito or Jarmila Gajdosova next for the Polish fourth seed.

  12. Postpublished at 14:02 British Summer Time 25 June 2014

    Nick Bollettieri
American tennis coach on BBC Radio 5 live

"There were too many careful shots, too many slices in that game from Moore. She was praying to win rather than playing to win and you can't do that. "

  13. Postpublished at 14:01 British Summer Time 25 June 2014

The unforced errors keep piling up for Rola now - 17 and counting - and the break points follow suit. Murray takes the second one on offer as Blaz blasts long, and after a mere 49 minutes it will take a sporting apocalypse to turn this one around.

  14. Latest scorepublished at 13:57 British Summer Time 25 June 2014

Tara Moore is a service game away from the second round, but she cannot make it stick as Vera Zvonareva wriggles off the hook and levels at 5-5.

But Moore will have another crack at it. Zvonareva's own serve crumbles to love to hand the break straight back.

  15. Postpublished at 13:55 British Summer Time 25 June 2014

    Pat Cash
1987 Wimbledon champion on BBC Radio 5 live

"Rola is going through a rough patch at the moment. He has barely found the court since he was broken for a second time. Murray is playing cleverly, trying to keep him off balance. Rola needs to find some rhythm."

  16. Postpublished at 13:54 British Summer Time 25 June 2014

This now going the way Blaz had feared - minimal purchase on the Murray serve now its accuracy is beginning to match its pace, and Mama Judy - in a red sweater today - nods her maternal approval.

  17. Postpublished at 13:52 British Summer Time 25 June 2014

    Tracy Austin
Two-time Grand Slam champion on BBC TV

"Dellacqua only hit 46% on her first serve in the opening set and she needs to get up to somewhere around 65%. She needs to forget about that first set.

"Radwanska converted her three break point chances and in the last game of the set she had more pace on her shots

"Last year, the three seeds in front of Radwanska were all out by the fourth round and that may have been an opportunity missed for her."

  18. Latest scorepublished at 13:52 British Summer Time 25 June 2014

Dellacqua 4-6 0-1 Radwanska: Agnieszka Radwanska has the first set tied up against Australian world number 36 Casey Dellacqua.

Bright sunshine in south-west London, and Murray is warming up nicely - punishing backhands down the line, Rola rocking, break burgled.

  20. Andy Murray v Blaz Rolapublished at 13:48 British Summer Time 25 June 2014

    John Lloyd
Former British number one on BBC TV

"Rola hasn't got the balance right yet. There were eight winners in that first set, but 13 errors. It's difficult for him against Murray. Rola has to be aggressive, get outside his comfort zone and hit the ball harder. Inevitably, that's going to lead to mistakes. But there is some pace on the forehand; he needs to pick the right shots to attack."
