"After all the build-up and all the talk they will just want to get the show on the road and see who is the best."
Obby:, external We fans need to savour every moment of this match - this is as good as it gets ...we live in very special times for men's tennis
Sophie:, external People have written Roger off time and again. He's proved them wrong time and again. He can do it today.
Martina Navratilova
Nine-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC radio 5 live
"I don't think these guys will get nervous at the beginning, the nerves will show at the end. Roger is towards the end of his career, Novak is in the middle, but you don't get these opportunities too often."
Seven-time Wimbledon champion Roger Federer, who is a father of two sets of twins, on BBC TV: "In my early days I could get very emotional about losing but as I got more successful I realised losses are just part of tennis.
"With the kids now it's all so much easier too because they don't care when you go home whether you have won or not."
Someone is going to lose their unbeaten 2014 grass-court record.
Roger Federer, who is bidding for his eighth Wimbledon title, told BBC Sport: "It's different now after a tough year last year when I struggled with my back. Things are going so much better and nicer and I am really enjoying it. I don't take it for granted now when I am in finals which means I am actually enjoying it more.
"Here is a good chance for me to do something. We will see if Novak agrees or not. I am aware that every Wimbledon final is a big one and I am just incredibly happy to get another chance. I would love another title and I will give everything I can to achieve it."
Wayne Weston Roberts: , externalHeart says Federer head says Novak. Could go either way but I feel Roger may find a way through
Nuren Ahmed:, external I have a feeling Roger Federer will get his farewell Slam today in a classic five-setter.
Overall the head-to-head record is 18-16 in Federer's favour.
They have met only once on grass. Federer won that one too, 6-3 3-6 6-4 6-3 in the 2012 Wimbledon semi-final.
Tim Henman
Former British number one on BBC Radio 5 live
"This is the final that so many people were hoping for. Djokovic has not played his best but has still reached the final which is a good sign.
"Roger Federer has only lost his serve once so if he plays like that he could win in straight sets.
"Federer's play in all areas has been fantastic, he has been aggressive at the right time, he is serving well and moving well and if he can keep that up then he will win today."
Claironimo:, external Djokovic is only player that seems to have a built in Control-Alt-Delete switch. Hope this takes us to a five-setter + Fed to win
Aminu Yakubu:, external I love Djokovic but really wishing for one last hurrah from the best of all time #Fedexpress.
Matt Youngs:, external Come on Roger! Make history
Novak Djokovic on what it takes to beat Roger Federer: "You have to have a very good day, mentally be very strong throughout and believe you can win.
"That is easier said than done because we all know how good Roger is on grass.
"Pressure is always present. I have had a very successful career but I still feel there are years to come in front of me but I have to think of the current moment and try to get another trophy."
Number one seed Novak Djokovic on BBC Sport: "It's the final step of the biggest event and there is a lot on the line.
"It is important to try to cope with nerves and emotions and stay in control of them and I think whoever manages to do that will get a win.
"I think I was five when I watched my first final. I watched Pete Sampras win his first or second title and it stayed in my mind. Since then grass and this tournament has a special place in my heart."
Jimmy Connors
Two-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC TV
"Losing in five out of his last six Grand Slam finals will play on Novak Djokovic's mind, but he wants this.
"He has been in this position before and he knows what to expect. He is also a great player, who has all the credentials.
"This is the final of Wimbledon, strange things happen here. There will be peaks and valleys and it will be about who copes best on the day."
Novak Djokovic has at times looked like he is playing both his opponent and the court this week.
He broke out a new set of trainers as he struggled for grip on Court One in the quarter-finals and was murmuring murderous threats at the baseline on his way to a semi-final win over Grigor Dimitrov.
It is still patchy back there.
Tim Henman
Former British number one on BBC One
"As the fortnight has unfolded, we've seen upsets and we weren't sure what the final would be. However, to have Federer and Djokovic - it doesn't get more special than that.
"Djokovic hasn't played brilliantly but has found a way to get through. Federer has come through serenely, only dropping his serve once. It will be fascinating to see how it will unfold."
A quick weather watch for you.
Roger Federer blossomed under the roof in the 2012 final against Andy Murray. He will have to contend with the odd gust of wind today though.
No sign of rain so the lid is peeled back and we have an outdoor final for an outdoor tournament.
The final practice swings have been swung. Roger Federer has been ushered to Centre Court. Half an hour to the off.
Andy Hunter, via text: "This is going to be a good final but I think it is going to be the Serb's year. Novak has the edge....."
