"There was a real weak forehand from Hewitt at deuce. Maybe he's fatiguing."
*Duckworth 6-7 (5-7) 2-6 2-1 Hewitt
Classic Lleyton Hewitt - well, initially, at least. The veteran Aussie digs in, sliding all over the blue acrylic court, to save a second break point. James Duckworth looks to the heavens, gesturing with his hands (not a rude one I must add).
But the emotions switch within seconds. Duckworth wins a third break point after a weak Hewitt forehand - and then he's gifted it! A double fault from Hewitt is met by virtual silence in the Rod Laver Arena.
*Duckworth 6-7 (5-7) 2-6 1-1 Hewitt
Nervy times for James Duckworth as he teeters on the edge at 30-30. But he keeps his nerve to clinch the hold with a pair of winners - one with the backhand, one with the forehand. That's takes his total number of winners to 33, compared to Hewitt's 21.
Tursunov 6-7 (2-7) Wawrinka
OK, here it is. But don't laugh - Stan's loud number has just helped him to to first-set win.

*Tursunov 6-6 Wawrinka
Tie break. Wawrinka was supposed to boss this one - Tursunov has been injured for ages. But without match practice, the Russian is holding on well.
*Duckworth 6-7 (5-7) 2-6 0-1 Hewitt
Boom! Boom! Lleyton Hewitt brings a pair of aces out of his pack to seal a hold in his opening service game of the third set.
One feels that he is desperate to wrap up victory in three - because you'd fancy the younger Aussie Duckworth if it goes the distance...
Duckworth 6-7 (5-7) 2-6 Hewitt
Leon Smith

"Hewitt's making Duckworth do all the work and asking questions. Duckworth is not quick enough with his execution."
Duckworth 6-7 (5-7) 2-6 Hewitt
Duckworth saves the first set point...a thumping double-handed backhand leaves Hewitt swinging at fresh air.
But his back is against the wall as Hewitt wins another set point. This time he can't stop Hewitt! The veteran Aussie scampers all over the court, reaching everything thrown at him, eventually sending a forehand fizzing down the line which Duckworth cannot return.
Cue dad dance and vigorous fist-pumping.
Duckworth 6-7 (5-7) 2-5 Hewitt*
Right then....Duckworth serving to stay in the second set. Hewitt draws first blood for 15-0, before a crunching inside-out forehand into the far corner gives him daylight at 30-0.
He goes long for 15-30, Duckworth drawing level after taking his time to pick the right ball from the ballgirl. Clearly it was the right one.
Uh oh...Duckworth buckles though - a double fault gifting Hewitt a set point...

*Duckworth 6-7 (5-7) 2-5 Hewitt
As you would expect, Lleyton Hewitt is not ready to be sent to the knacker's yard just yet. The gutsy 34-year-old, playing in his final Grand Slam before retiring remember, saves three break points. Duckworth looks bemused by Hewitt's resistance, eventually buckling with a forehand error as Hewitt hangs on.

*Tursunov 5-5 Wawrinka
Wawrinka levels things.
By the way, we will bring you a picture of Wawrinka's kit as soon as we get it.

Duckworth 6-7 (5-7) 2-4 Hewitt*
Anyone in the Rod Laver Arena who popped off to the loo would have missed James Duckworth's latest service game. He races into a 40-0 lead, although Lleyton Hewitt has the crowd on their feet with a wonderful backhand that arcs around the net post and dusts the whitewash for 40-15. But Duckworth, after a party trick of his own - stopping the ball dead on his racquet, clinches a morale-boosting hold.
Tursunov 5-4 Wawrinka*
Fourth seed Wawrinka had a real chance to break Tursunov then. But just went off the boil. The bad version of a Barcelona away kit could be causing problems for the Swiss...
*Duckworth 6-7 (5-7) 1-4 Hewitt
What's the perfect way to follow up a break? A hold to love of course. Lleyton Hewitt eases to 40-0, going wide with his next serve. James Duckworth can only guide a cross-court backhand over the baseline.
