    If you were here in the beginning, Lu started out great. He was hitting the ball well and cleanly and was 3-1 up. But now, and it is understandable, it looks like he has no idea what to do. He went from being the happiest man in the world to someone who is looking for the way out of there. It is getting terribly one-sided.

    An hour and 18 minutes into this second row contest, and Lu is leaning back on the ropes - Murray toying with him, Lu double-faulting, break gone, match to follow in about... 24 minutes?

    Jack Grummitt-Carel:  Looks like top seeds doing everything they can to hand Serena the title. Can she win again playing average tennis like last year?

  5. 'I'm very surprised'published at 17:34 British Summer Time 30 June 2016

    Garbine Muguruza's conqueror, Jana Capelova, speaking to BBC Two: "I am so happy. I am very surprised. I did not expect two sets.

    "I have beaten some great players, and I am very satisfied with this."

    Murray 6-3 6-2 Lu *

    A rumour reaches me that Craig David was briefly in our commentary box a moment ago. Hold on, Murray's rattled through that service game, barely out of third gear, Lu going down the gurgler...

    That's a lot of points Garbine will lose and we will see what that does to her ranking. I am not concerned at all. I would probably say she is just tired with everything she has gone through after the French Open. It has been a whirlwind. She will have a nice break now.

  9. Cepelova's winning momentpublished at 17:33 British Summer Time 30 June 2016

    The biggest shock of Wimbledon 2016 so far, this is the moment Jana Cepelova knocked out second seed and French Open winner Gabrine Muguruza.

    Physically and mentally this is torturous for Lu. You need endurance, both physical and mental, as well as sprinter-like speed. You also have to recover really fast and that game really wore Lu down.

    * Murray 6-3 5-2 Lu

    A pair of gossamer droppers from the number two seed, and Lu suddenly has legs with the strength of fag ash - forehand stuck wide, another tossed limply into the net, and Murray will serve for a two set lead.

  12. 'So unsettling'published at 17:26 British Summer Time 30 June 2016

    Lu doesn't know what is coming next and that is so unsettling for a player.

  13. Contender for shot of the day?published at 17:26 British Summer Time 30 June 2016

    There's been a few but this is up there. Seventh seed Marcel Granollers deals with Richard Gasquet's backhand smash with some style. It may not have been intentional as he holds his hand up to apologise, but Granollers is currently leading the Frenchman 6-4 5-4

    The French Open champion. Last year's runner-up. The second seed.

    But Jana Cepelova has run roughshod over Garbine Muguruza's title credentials today.

    The Slovak world number 124 claims the biggest scalp of her career and of this year's tournament so far.

    US Open champion Roberta Vinci has seen off China's Ying-Ying Duan 6-3 7-5 to make the third round.

    Murray 6-3 4-2 Lu *

    Lu digging, swinging haymakers from the baseline, and Murray is suddenly a break point down - first serve long, second spitting high, sending Lu onto the back foot, and here comes the old one-two, a drop-shot that skips over the net with the man from Chinese Tapai rooted a mile away. "COME ONNNN!" roars Murray, as Lu goes long to seal the game.

    Garbine Muguruza is backed up to the brink. She hangs on to her serve, but now must break Jana Cepelova to stay in the Championships.

    * Murray 6-3 3-2 Lu

    Oo la - dreamy volley cross-court from Murray, Lu left banjaxed by the power on the reply. Scampering now, fetching an impossible overhead, Lu clunking the lob into the net in dispirited fashion. Chance to pass down the line spurned - touch sloppy - for deuce, and another error on the forehand side lets the double-break slip away.

    If Andy Murray makes it through this afternoon, then his third-round opponent is already lying in wait.

    Australian John Millman will come with plenty of boisterous Fanatic support after he disposed of French 26th seed Benoit Paire 7-6 6-3 4-6 6-2.

    And he looks a little like Peter Crouch into the bargain as well.
