    These guys haven't got their A game going yet, neither one of them. What Tsonga's really not feeling good about is those two doubles to lose the serve.

    Andy Murray's early break is greeted with hearty cheers on the Hill. But the collective focus is yet to lock onto the match against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

    Many are still slack-jawed and staggered by the match that came before. Federer v Cilic sucked you in like a deep-space vacuum.

    A little dash of peril, a pinch of an upset is needed before Murray v Tsonga can command the same attention.

    Daniel Woods:  Had to apologise to my neighbours for all the noise I've been making. This level of tennis is exceptional. Come on Andy!!

    Shaun: Why have I heard a lot of people saying Tsonga is a grass specialist when his best recent performances have been French and US?

    Pouille 6-7 1-3 Berdych*

    Tomas Berdych leaps with his back to the net and volleys down hard into the grass to make it 40-30.

    But Lucas Pouille isn't going to let him snatch this service game. Oh no. The Frenchman holds to get off the mark in the second set.

    * Murray 3-2 Tsonga

    My giddy aunts, a miraculous cross-court return from Murray, and - even better - a running topspin lob off a near-perfect approach from the Frenchman. Backhand on the cleanest of angles, and another break point - no, not this time, tightens up on a backhand with space down the line and biffs it into the tramlines. Double-fault, another nibble. First serve long. Second... onto the tape! Murray with the lead for the first time this afternoon...

    Ah, yes, Tomas Berdych is very much in control now.

    The 2010 Wimbledon finalist holds to love to notch up a 3-0 lead.

    Time for Lucas Pouille to find a way into this set...

    Tomas Berdych holds in the opening service game of the second set...then earns two break points.

    Lucas Pouille can only shank a forehand wide and the Czech 10th seed earns the early advantage.

    Murray 2-2 Tsonga *

    Tsonga with an impetuous slap down the line - nope, just wide. Murray with splendid depth on his groundstrokes, forcing Tsonga off-balance and off-kilter. Hold to love, smooth sailing thus far.

    * Murray 1-2 Tsonga

    Tsonga 31 years of age now, which barely seems possible. Still the imposing unit of his youth, muscle behind that serve, mustard on that forehand. Break chance here for Murray, but he can't make that forehand sit down. Another chance at deuce, another forehand with a little too much beef.

    Pouille 6-7 (4-7) Berdych

    Tomas Berdych storms into a 5-1 lead in the tie-break. Time to switch ends and see if Lucas Pouille can recover.

    A gentle backhand tap-over earns Pouille a point back on the Berdych serve. And then he serves an ace for 5-3.

    But Berdych moves to set point and slams a forehand winner to take it.

    I liked Jo-Wilfried's attitude in the fifth set against Isner. He showed some real attitude there. It showed me a lot about Jo's resolve right now, his intensity.
