Berdych has learnt his lesson from earlier with regards to overhead smashes (I'm still taking credit for the improvement).

He steadies himself and smacks one down near the net for 30-0, and goes on to hold without dropping a point.

Solid from the Czech 10th seed.

    Whizz bang.

A sixth ace from Andy Murray takes him up to 40-15.

He has a little wobble with a double fault but then produces a cheeky lob to outsmart the Czech again.

I don't understand tennis today, they're not coming to the net. Why not play more aggressive and come in?

Twenty-nine unforced errors from the Berdych racquet, just the six from Andy Murray - nearly a set in difference.

Murray has Berdych on the ropes. The Scotsman has two break points.

Tomas Berdych's forehand return lets him down again. He smacks into the net to hand Murray the advantage.

And Berdych then curls a forehand wide. Murray holds.

A gorgeous, stretching, backhand volley takes Murray to 30-0.

He can't quite tip over the net on the next point and then a double fault brings Berdych level.

The Czech forces a return over the baseline, but takes the game to deuce after coming out on top after a long rally.

L Higgins: Berdych's game is collapsing, his decision making process is all over the place.

Lain Eduardo: How bad is this Centre Court crowd? Far too quiet for a semi-final with a Brit.

Colin Terry: I wouldn't want to disappoint #IvanLendl, external Pretty sure that if he removes those glasses there is a death ray on.

This is the moment Andy Murray went two sets to love up. We could be on course for an early finish here.

    A clean hold from Berdych.

He serves it out with an ace, after out-tricking Andy Murray with a couple of forehand winners.

It's the first time Murray's not moved perfectly across the back line.

After being wrong-footed by a Berdych blinder on the first point, Andy Murray responds with two mammoth serves. Bang, bang.

The British number one holds after the tenth seed shoots long. Cruise control.

Berdych has made a lot of mistakes on his forehand side, and they've been quite easy shots. Andy's playing well, Berdych isn't playing great - he's not serving great, missing some easy shots - and Andy's doing what he needs to do.

Music to the ears of Andy Murray fans: three break points, three set points.

Berdych saves one with a net volley.

But the crowd are on their feet! Murray places a beauty of a forehand winner past his opponent.

Two sets up, one to go. The final could be in sight for the world number two.

It must feel like he is trying to hit through a brick wall, trying to get through Andy Murray.

That's why Tomas Berdych is trying to do a lot of different things to change this match. He just tried a drop shot, and that's not his go-to-shot.

Murray massively overcooks a forehand into the corner. A shake of the head after that.

But a shake of the fist follows, as he holds with ease.

There has been a real momentum shift in the last 10-12 minutes. Murray had to dig deep to hold on to a game, Berdych tried everything but didn't get any reward.

Andy Murray has Tomas Berdych doing shuttle runs up and down the baseline, like a PE teacher punishing a naughty teenager.

The British number one earns two break points.

Berdych serves, and tries to dink over a backhand winner near the net, but it fails to clear it.

Murray has first blood in the second set.
