Well, at the very least we will have another year at the Davis Cup top table with a place assured in the first round of the 2017 tournament in March.
And for the constituent parts?
An empty Andy Murray will go and rest his weary bones. It may be the Shanghai Masters in early October before we see him again.
Hopefully they will have a good evening together tonight reminiscing on a creditable campaign, not least that quarter-final win away in Serbia achieved without Andy Murray in their ranks.

Mayer outclassed Dan Evans, it was a wonderful performance.
What his ranking is doing I have no idea I thought he was absolutely superb.
Even if Dan got his first serve back, his forehand and backhand were immense. I did not expect him to play that well.
Argentina captain Daniel Orsanic: "I am very proud of all these players, the ones who aren't here, the coaches. We include everyone, there are a lot of people behind this team so today we can celebrate with this Argentinian crowd.
"Leo has played very good Davis Cup matches before. He has that feeling in his body and even though he is out of the top 100 that is not his level. He was a little nervous in the first set but when he found his rhythm he was on top all of the time.
"We had to keep it to ourselves until the last moment so Great Britain were thinking a little bit but we knew from last night that Mayer would play.
"I believe it will be an honour to play another final but today we will celebrate a semi-final victory."
This fella has been one of the stars of the show.
I think the chance of world peace would rise dramatically with more mixing and matching of national dress.

We have asked Andy Murray time and time again to win three matches and miraculously he has pulled it off but there was going to be a time when that was going to be too much for him.
A teary Leo Mayer after sealing Argentina's victory: "I am very emotional. I haven't been able to play because of injury so I am delighted to be back on form.
"I do not know what it is about the Davis Cup it brings out the best in me."
Leonardo Mayer is in bits as he celebrates with his team-mates.
He suffered a shoulder injury in March which has seen him plummet out of the top 50.
If he plays like that, he will be back there soon enough.

But Leonardo Mayer has been consummate since losing the first set.
He shrugs off any pressure and steamrollers Evans flat with blistering serves and razor-eyed groundstrokes.
