Good from Dan Evans to hold on and good body language as well.

He is showing he is not ready to go anywhere yet.

Danny Morgan: This is just like the Edmund match on Friday, great start, but as soon as Evans dropped serve, his belief disappeared.

EuroDrone: This match once again highlights the problem with British Tennis i.e. if Murray(s) don't win all 3 points we lose

Leonardo Mayer is making use of his safety net.

With one in the bag, he throws the kitchen sink at the Dan Evans serve to try and force a second fatal break.

    No dice this time.

But the Argentine has zippy new balls to serve with next. Like he needs them.

Leonardo Mayer is doing his best to drown out any lingering British hopes with sheer quality.

He clips a second-serve ace out wide and out of reach to move to 40-0 up.

Evans nips back a point to cheers.

But another raking forehand has Evans scampering into the far corners and Mayer is able to come in and pat home the volley into unguarded acres.

    You felt it was coming.

Mayer is just finding it easy on his serve and was just able to push Evans who now does now have a job on his hands.

Davis Cup: Dan Evans broken by Leonardo Mayer in fourth set

Leonardo Mayer gets a backhand to bite down hard on the baseline at Dan Evans feet and the Briton's hurried swish ends in the net.

Mayer's serve has been locked up tight for the last two and half sets. It is going to take an audacious raid from Evans to avert defeat for Great Britain.

The game is going along just as Mayer would like, he doesn't want to get involved in anything that might disrupt that.

Things are getting a little tense out there.

Dan Evans has taken to jigging around as he waits for the Leonardo Mayer serve, shuffling his position around.

Mayer looks supremely unbothered, replicating Evans actions with a little mocking hop as he slots away another ace.

He holds to 15 with a running drive volley. Evans is warned for an audible obscenity.

Great Britain are not winning the tennis games and they definitely lost that mind game.

Leonardo Mayer races to 40-0 in a twinkle. It is in stark contrast to Dan Evans' traumas in the previous game.

Dan Evans looks to have landed an extraordinary tweener lob between his legs on the next point.

The line judge spoils the fun by calling it long.

Evans challenges. Hawkeye is on the blink though.

It offers up an apologetic screen saying "Original Call Stands".

The crowd jeer. Mayer moves level.

Will holding it give Evans the boost in belief he needs?

Or will it have taken more energy out of the Briton?
