    Murray v Thompson

Hello! We've seen two big shocks at Queen's already today. What's that phrase my mum used to say? Everything come in threes. Something like that.

Well... Milos Raonic has already gone through the exit door, followed closely by Stan Wawrinka.

Andy Murray is the third big name up on the newly-extended Centre Court at Queen's. Surely not...

OK. The shirts are different? Correct. Changing hairstyles? Yep. That's about it...

The winning grin is the same in each picture. As is the gleaming trophy.

Andy Murray has been here, done it and got five 'I'm the Queen's champion' t-shirts.

Now the world number one is back on home soil and looking to extend his record victory haul to a sixth title in this leafy part of west London.

With Johanna Konta safely in the second round draw, she can go for a warm down and perhaps an ice-bath. Then she might head out to the Bullring this afternoon. Or she might be glued to BBC Sport's Queen's coverage. Who knows.

Last year's runner-up Milos Raonic has already fallen by the wayside in west London, Stan Wawrinka won't be next - will he?

See how he gets on by heading over to Sportsday where you can watch and read live coverage from Queen's.

And I'll be back (after a quick trip to the BBC canteen) for Andy Murray's match. That should start not too long after 16:00 BST.

    Konta 6-3 7-6 (8-6) Tsurenko

British number one Jo Konta, speaking on court after beating Lesia Tsurenko: "I am very happy to come through it in two, she was playing well and I had to keep fighting and not get too far ahead or too far behind."

On needing a medical timeout after appearing to be unwell midway through the second set: "Yes, I am fine. I'm good."

On her busy grass-court schedule: "I'm enjoying the schedule, not so many players get to play so many tournaments at home in quick succession so I feel very lucky. It is a bit quicker here than Nottingham."

Jo did so well to stay calm. They both stepped their game up in the tie-break that's for sure.

Not the prettiest of performances from Jo Konta in that second set. But somehow she has got through in straight sets!

    *Konta 6-3 6-6 (5-4) Tsurenko

Cool as a cucumber. At 4-4, Konta pulls a drop-shot out of the top drawer. Tsurenko can't scramble. Two serves will do it for Konta...

    Konta 6-3 6-6 (4-3) Tsurenko*

Konta nails her opening serve to give herself breathing space at the changeover. But then Tsurenko hauls the Brit back with a wonderful cross-court forehand winner. Konta was left rooted to the spot like a snowman.

    Konta 6-3 6-6 Tsurenko*

Tie-break time! Konta holds her serve. It wasn't an easy hold, but a hold nevertheless.

An inch-perfect forehand dusts the whitewash to leave Tsurenko beaten at 40-15. But she fights back to deuce before the Brit settles herself down to take into a sudden-death scenario....

    *Konta 6-3 5-6 Tsurenko

The Konta express grinds to a halt as Tsurenko wins her first game in four. That means the Ukrainian world number 34 is again a game away from taking this into a decider. The third time that Konta is serving to stay in it...

    Konta 6-3 5-5 Tsurenko*

All square. Not sure how Konta has managed to drag herself level - this set looked long gone about 20 minutes ago. Maybe the doctor prescribed her some magic pills in that medical timeout at 2-5. Legal ones of course.

Whatever, Konta is looking like her normal self again. Another decent service game ends when Tsurenko lamely smacks a forehand into the net. She looks up to the heavens, wondering where her three-game advantage has gone.

    *Konta 6-3 4-5 Tsurenko

Tsurenko starts her service game well, going 30-0 ahead, but she soon sees that leads go down the swanny.

A crisp forehand from Konta leaves a stretching Tsurenko wafting, the Ukrainian then double-faulting for 30-30.

Half an eye on the break becomes a full-on stare... and Konta takes it as she pushes and pulls Tsurenko across the court. Just in the nick of time. That came out of nowhere!
