In the women's side of things, Venus Williams gets play going on Court One at 13:00 BST, while 11th seed Petra Kvitova is second on Centre Court as she faces Sweden's Johanna Larsson.

World number two Simona Halep is second on court two, while her French Open opponent - and ultimate winner - Jelena Ostapenko is fourth on court three.

Elina Svitolina is second on court three against Australia's Ashleigh Barty, while eighth seed Dominika Cibulkova is third on court 12.

On court six, Mirjana Lucic-Baroni of Croatia is on second against Germany's Carina Witthoeft, while Barbora Strycova is on at the same time on court seven.

In the men's competition, Stan Wawrinka is last on Centre Court against Daniil Medvedev - who was beaten in the final at Eastbourne by Novak Djokovic - while Rafael Nadal is second on Court One as he faces Australia's John Millman.

Elsewhere, Nick Kyrgios is first on court three from 11:30 BST, facing France's Pierre-Hughes Herbert and Kei Nishikori is second on court 12 against Italian Marco Cecchinato.

Spain's Fernando Verdasco is second on court 18, followed by Gilles Muller, while Steve Johnson is last on court 12.

Q marks the start of the, well, Queue. Obviously.

Every year up to 15,000 ticketless fans arrive at Wimbledon Park to patiently wait for access to the nearby All England Club. About 1,500 of them are able to claim show court tickets, but only if they arrive early. Like, two days early.

Hundreds arrive on Saturday, many more on Sunday, creating a music festival-like atmosphere.

Kids, young and some slightly older, muck around with frisbees and footballs. Wafts of greasy food drive those hunger pangs, there are lines of bladder-hurting toilet queues. At least there's no mud.

One fella just arriving at the back is Nick from Weybridge. "I come to the Queue every year," he says. "I'm not bothered about the show courts, I just like ambling around and soaking up the atmosphere. And eating strawberries!"

BBC Weather's Simon King: The weather shouldn’t disrupt things for the first day of Wimbledon (phew!). While it’ll be a little cloudy at times for the start of play, the clouds will break up more and more into the afternoon with some sunny spells into the afternoon. While there is just a very small chance of an odd light shower, we’d be unlucky for one to hit Wimbledon. It's feeling pretty warm with a high of about 22C.

In a manner of minutes this rope will drop and all those who camped and queued overnight will run to the courts they have their eyes on. A few lucky ones got Centre Court tickets but others will find a seat at the outside courts, or claim a spot on Murray Mount to watch the action on the big screen. The announcer has just told them not to run for safety reasons but there will be a lot of fast walking!

The All England Club gates officially open at 10:30 BST, but it has been a hive of activity for the last week. While ground staff, caterers and tournament officials made final preparations, so too did the players and their teams of support staff.

None more so than Andy Murray, whose dodgy hip brought with it a media pack eager to convey every wince and grimace. It was only when we saw him jogging through the grounds on Saturday with a grin that we got the feeling all would be well for Monday.

No fanfare for Andy Murray as he arrives at Aorangi Park for his final practice session before he begins the defence of his Wimbledon title. It will be very different when he steps out on Centre Court in around three hours' time.

Murray was moving a bit gingerly at first, looking wary of his hip injury, but he is moving easier now, going through a series of warm-up routines with Matt Little, his strength and conditioning coach.

He's had an up and down year so far but he loves playing at SW19, and he's over the worst of a hip injury that ruled him out of last week's practice matches at Hurlingham.

He's in good spirits, too.

"I don't feel like I'm coming in trying to defend something," he said yesterday.

"I'm going out there trying to win Wimbledon again. I want to try to win the competition."

Right, the best bit about Wimbledon is planning who you're going to watch - either sneakily at work or lounging on the sofa at home - and when. Let's give you the run down.

Laura Robson is the first Brit in action today at 11:30 BST - shekick-starts her Wimbledon against Beatriz Haddad Maia of Brazil on court 18. Cameron Norrie will also get going at the same time - he's got a stern test against Jo-Wilfried Tsogna on court two.

Andy Murray gets underway on Centre Court at 13:00 BST when he'll face Kazakhstan's Alexander Bublik.

Johanna Konta is third on Court One, where play begins from 13:00 BST, facing Hsieh Su-Wei of Taiwan, and Heather Watson is last on court four against Maryna Zanevska.

Elsewhere, Aljaz Bedene is third on court three, facing world number 21 Ivo Karlovic, and Naomi Broady will face Irinia-Camelia Begu on court 14.
