    *Djokovic 5-3 Monfils

Monfils has had no luck on Djokovic's serve so far. The Serb has been far too accurate - his first serve percentage is sitting at 90%.

But the Frenchman has found a way into this game, Djokovic being slightly more tentative on his second serve which hands Monfils the opportunity to hit a clean winner.

Monfils hits a forceful cross-court forehand but he tries far too hard on his second and it sails out.

    Djokovic holds.

    *Djokovic 3-1 Monfils

What a point. Monfils lands a stunning cross-court forehand before opening up his body and smashing a forehand winner down the opposite line. Djokovic nowhere near it.

The Frenchman follows up with a good serve before Djokovic puts an easy forehand over the base line. Very out of character.

But he redeems himself with a great feel as he drops a deft shot over the net. Even Monfils wasn't reaching that.

Big hitting from the back of the court brings up the advantage, but there are grimaces from the big Frenchman. He's not looking too comfortable.

    Djokovic 2-1 Monfils*

Djokovic pulls out a brilliant cross-court forehand, encouraging signs for the former world number one who looks to be getting back to his best.

The Serb looked to be in control of the game but he comes up to the net and Monfils bullets a ball past Djokovic down the line. A cracking shot.

And an amazing rally brings up the deuce. Monfils was lashing the balls at Djokovic there, who somehow managed to keep returning them. But the Frenchman clips the line with a forehand winner.

    Djokovic 1-0 Monfils*

But it's break point for the number one seed Novak Djokovic.

A double fault from Monfils, who was troubled by the sun and seagulls, hands Djokovic the first game of the final.

    *Djokovic 0-0 Monfils

And he starts with a good one. Monfils sends a second serve out wide and Djokovic can't get much on the return.

Monfils then readjusts his position a number of times before throwing his next serve - and the seagulls don't like that. They're in fine voice once again as Monfils looks to the heavens.

But he'll have to just get on with it. And that he does. He's looking very mobile so far.

On head-to-head record, it's not pretty reading for Gael Monfils.

Djokovic has won 13 times, and never lost against the Frenchman.

Monfils also injured his knee in his semi-final victory over fellow countryman Richard Gasquet so it remains to be seen whether his fitness could be a factor in today's final.

One positive for the world number 16 - he's never played Djokovic on grass...

    Pliskova 6-4 6-4 Wozniacki

That was clinical from the Czech.

She's never made it past the second round at Wimbledon, but she's surely the player to beat.

Two breaks of set was all that was needed to dispatch of a world-class player in Wozniacki.
