    Bedene 6-7 5-7 3-5 Muller

The umpire's in a hurry. She tells patrons coming back in to sit wherever they can and then calls 15-0 before the ball has hit the turf.

Muller is also in a rush. He wins to love in no time. A game away from round four.

Negative body language is something Vika is seeing from Heather Watson now.

It's so important to not show your frustrations or weaknesses to your opponent because Vika will try and use it now.

    *Azarenka 3-6 3-1 Watson

Ooohs and aahs from the Wimbledon crowd as Heather Watson completely misjudges a forehand, spooning a return into the spectators.

But it does not get to the Brit as a great deep return from Watson keeps her in the fifth game on her way to another game going to deuce.

    *Azarenka 3-6 3-1 Watson

Crisis over. Watson so nearly went 4-0 down in this second set, but manages to haul herself out of that danger, although she is still one break down.

Watson wins the game after Azarenka had taken the previous three. A very vital hold for Watson.

    Bedene 6-7 5-7 3-4 Muller

Few may believe that Bedene can save this match, but the man himself hasn't downed tools just yet. He hustles hard at the back of the court to chase one rally back but Muller then creams a backhand past him as clean as you like.

In flashes he looks like a serious player. You can see why he's been winning so much on grass.

He's probably going to play Rafa Nadal next, mind. Different gravy.

    Bedene holds serve.

After Watson's marvelous first set, she's struggling slightly in this second set. Here's a stunning drop-shot from Victoria Azarenka on her way to a three love lead...

Azarenka is starting to get great reads now off this Watson serve. She is absolutely picking the right directions.

    Azarenka 3-6 3-0 Watson*

These are tough times for Heather Watson. At 30-30, a forehand from the baseline is just a bit too long to give Azarenka a break point for 4-0. Watson digs deep though by winning the next point and we are at deuce in game four of set two.

    Bedene 6-7 5-7 2-4 Muller

Gilles Muller can smell a place in week two. He lurks at the net before putting away a volley in predatory fashion.

He's won 21 of 33 points at the net, the wingspan of an albatross. Two games from victory.

Watson's performance has forced Azarenka to change her tactics compared to her wins over Catherine Bellis and Elena Vesnina in the opening two rounds.

Losing her serve has annoyed Heather Watson. As, of course, it should.

She introduces racquet to the base of each trainer after missing a simple forehand.

But don't panic. The Guernsey girl was a break down in the second set against 18th seed Anastasija Sevastova after breezing through the opener.

Watson went on to win five of the next six games for victory...

Former world number one on BBC TV

There are some matches in your career when you play the whole match without thinking and win.

It doesn't often happen but when it does, it's great. Heather Watson hasn't had a match like that yet.

She has to try and stay positive. When you talk to yourself between points, you have to get rid of negative thoughts immediately and just get the positivity back before you play the next point.

    Chance for Watson. Gone.

Watson had a break point but Azarenka averts the danger and soon after Watson can then only hit a tame effort into the net.

The former world number one is in control of set two and 3-0 up.

  15. Nishikori strugglespublished at 13:58 British Summer Time 7 July 2017

    Nishikori 4-6 6-7 (3-7) 2-2 Bautista Agut

Kei Nishikori is having a torrid time out on court three.

The ninth seed looks like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders as he trails Roberto Bautista Agut by two sets.

BBC commentator Peter Fleming says Nishikori looks "undercooked" and the player has made 32 unforced errors to his opponent's 21.

But he is holding on so far in the third set.

  16. Bedene broken againpublished at 13:58 British Summer Time 7 July 2017

    Bedene 6-7 5-7 2-3 Muller

Bedene in trouble here, a few loose, tired shots and he's down the barrel of three break points. Time to cancel that provisional booking of next week's Air BnB?

He gets one back with a gutsy get of a rally, but can only cough a backhand into the net to hand Muller the break.

  17. Postpublished at 13:58 British Summer Time 7 July 2017

    *Azarenka 3-6 2-0 Watson

Watson immediately broke back after losing her service game in the first set and she hopes to repeat the trick again in the third game of set two by moving 30-15 ahead.

But there are signs of frustration as she nets one, and looks like she wants to smash her ground in anger. She resists the urge, and it is a good decision as she then keeps it alive at deuce.

  18. Azarenka breaks servepublished at 13:55 British Summer Time 7 July 2017

    *Azarenka 3-6 2-0 Watson

Watson cannot save herself this time as a forehand, when trying to save a break point, looks wide. It is called out, Watson challenges but it was out and Azarenka, a set down, is now a break up in set two.
