I don't know about Watson's nerves, it's Azarenka that seems much more uptight out here.

They have already had some really great rallies in this match which is a good sign.

Heather Watson loves playing at home so it is very easy for her to pick up her level when she gets to this Centre Court.

    Media caption,

Heather Watson breaks Victoria Azarenka early in their third round match.

A half-chance for Watson as a double fault from Azarenka brings us to 30-30 in the Belarusian's first service game. She then overcooks a looping forehand, which goes far too long to give Watson early hope of a break of serve.

And the Brit takes advantage. What a start for Watson. Azarenka's serve is broken at the first time of asking.

    Bedene 6-7 3-3 Muller

Bedene cannot cope with Muller's drop volleys, twice he is caught out by them and Muller takes the game comfortably. We remain on serve.

    Bedene 6-7 3-2 Muller

Better from Bedene as he sails through the fifth game. Decent serving by Bedene and errors from Muller are the order of the day as Bedene takes it without dropping a point. The Briton leads 3-2.

The distribution of Azarenka's ground strokes is looking frightening.

    *Azarenka 0-1 Watson

This is going to be a tough, tough test for Watson, ranked 102nd in the world. She has to dig deep early on as she has to save two break points in the opening game.

A powerful forehand leaves Azarenka flat-footed as the Brit holds her serve. Only just though.

One of the things I noticed when I came back after a baby, is you don't forget how to play and how to go through the motions.

Physically it might be a little harder but Vika is just getting better and better.

She likes to attack early on in the rally so Heather will have to be ready for that.

    Azarenka 0-0 Watson*

Watson is going to have the backing of a large Centre Crowd court with a huge cheer providing the soundtrack to her first point won.

Azarenka does her best to nullify the atmosphere by moving to 30-15, including a crisp volley when charging in to the net.

The Belarusian then moves to a break point in the opening game. Early trouble for the Brit.

I have absolutely zero worries about Heather Watson coping with the atmosphere here.

    She will love it.

Sometimes, seeing all the famous faces in the Royal Box is more intimidating than seeing someone like Serena Williams at the other end...

  20. Muller breaks backpublished at 13:08 British Summer Time 7 July 2017

    Bedene 6-7 2-1 Muller

Another slip for Bedene as he chases in a lovely drop shot from Muller, he takes a heavy whack but straight away gives the thumbs up. He's OK.

It's another break point though, another one saved. This is a lengthy old game. Muller finally breaks though as Bedene finds the centre of the net.
