Halep 7-6 (7-2) 6-6 (4-3) Konta*
Simona Halep is just a couple of points away from the world number one title, as well as a place in the Wimbledon semi-finals.
A little nibble off the net cord goes Konta's way as she feints a move to the right before hammering the ball left behind Halep.
The noise goes up a notch as the players change ends. Halep raises her arm as Konta returns her serve - and it's out by about 0.5cm! That's so close!
*Halep 7-6 (7-2) 6-6 (3-2) Konta
Jo Konta is back on serve, and takes her time to think this through.
Halep snatches the first point with a forehand which bounces off the baseline chalk.
Another deep breath from the Briton.
This time, Halep overcooks a return past the baseline and Konta reduces the deficit.

Former world number one on BBC TV
Now is the time to stay positive, but that is great serving from Halep.
Halep 7-6 (7-2) 6-6 (2-1) Konta*
Not a flicker from Halep as she bashes down a serve that Konta returns wide.
Konta gets down so low to meet Halep's serve, but again, too much height on the return and it's out.
*Halep 7-6 (7-2) 6-6 (0-1) Konta
Simona Halep slaps a backhand into the net to hand Konta the first point of the tie-break.
Meanwhile, outside of Centre Court the poncho salespeople are making a killing.
Halep 7-6 (7-2) 6-6 Konta*
Love hold for Halep.
We're into a tie-break. This is a test of nerves...
*Halep 7-6 (7-2) 5-6 Konta
"Slam it slam it slam it!" says a colleague to my left as Konta finds herself with an empty court across from her - and the Brit obliges with a firm slap for 30-0.
A superb passing winner from Halep is cancelled out by a big Konta serve, and the serve out wide from the Brit tidies up yet another hold.
Kim Clijsters
Former world number one on BBC TV
That was a very strong hold for Halep. You sensed she was getting frustrated as she was looking up to her coaches' box.
Halep 7-6 (7-2) 5-5 Konta*
That's one big old roar from Simona Halep as a Konta flat strike goes wide, but Halep nets to ensure we go back to parity.
Now Halep takes the pace off, forcing Konta to come forward, and she gets there but can't flick her return over the net!
Is that out? A little dab at the net from Konta, Halep was nowhere near it - and yup, it's out. Another good hold from Halep.
Halep 7-6 (7-2) 4-5 Konta*
Simona Halep races to 40-0 without a care in the world, watching as Konta overworks her responses, but a lovely rush to the net and a backhand volley gets Konta on the board.
And again, a winner up at the net from the Brit! And a fine forehand return from Konta, the ball bouncing perfectly on the line, takes us to deuce!
Kim Clijsters
Former world number one on BBC TV
I love that even though it's 40-0 to Halep, Konta hops around and she's so positive.

We're getting everything we can possibly hope for from this match. This could be little past the halfway point. This could be a physical test, while at the moment it's an emotional test and they're both passing with flying colours.
If this gets into a third set, it will be interesting to see if either blink.
*Halep 7-6 (7-2) 4-5 Konta
Ian McKellen is watching on! Gandalf! Or Magneto, depending on whether comic books or Orcs are your thing.

The tented village at Wimbledon Park is a few hundred strong with those willing to camp out for two nights looking to be rewarded with golden tickets for the men's quarter-final tomorrow. A number of tickets for Centre Court and Number One court are available each day, up until the semi-finals but you have to be prepared to camp out. They're in for a soggy evening but it will be worth the wait with the weather forecast looking good for Wednesday and Andy Murray, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic all in action.
*Halep 7-6 (7-2) 4-5 Konta
That's such a good shot from Konta, backhand winner down the line. She's played it so nicely today.
A double fault rattles up 15-15, before Konta batters another one of those backhand winners that Halep can only watch sail past her.
"Come on!" is the cry from Konta as she holds with an ace.
John McEnroe
Three-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC TV
Cool on the outside, freaking out on the inside.
Halep 7-6 (7-2) 4-4 Konta*
Konta is one from seven in terms of break points. Halep? One from one.

There is pressure on Konta at her home Slam but there is also pressure on Halep too. If she wins this match she will be the new world number one.
Of course she wants to win Wimbledon more than be number one, and she will say that it's not about the money, but she will have clauses in all of her endorsement deals which will kick in when she is number one.
It would be a huge deal for her.
