    *Nadal 6-3 3-6 6-6 (6-5) Cilic

Nadal fails to convert a pick-up at the base of the net - despite a Bolt-like sprint.

After a thumping rally, Cilic thinks he's cracked a forehand winner. It's gone way over the baseline though. What a mistake-a to make-a!

    Set point Nadal.

    Nadal 6-3 3-6 6-6 (5-4) Cilic*

Nadal starts his pre-serve routine and then decides he doesn't like something. It's a baby crying that's distracted the world nubmer one.

It doesn't distract Cilic, though, as he clobbers a forehand winner, before an outrageous return down the line from Nadal wrong-foots him.

    *Nadal 6-3 3-6 6-6 (4-3) Cilic

Cilic misjudges a forehand swipe and it travels over the baseline. We're level again.

The Croat psyches himself up for this next point and the crowd are behind him. Nadal stretches all the way to his right and somehow retrieves the serve, and Cilic can't get on the end of it.

    Wow.

That was impressive play from Cilic. Nadal's forehand down the line was unbelievable but Cilic anticipated it.

So good. So, so good. Nadal slides a forehand over the net and it just evades a stretching Cilic. We're at 30-30.

On his weaker second serve, Cilic enters a rally and he hits just over the baseline, to hand Nadal a single break point. Cilic is out of challenges now, too.

Remember in the second set when Cilic had an argument with the chair umpire and then won four straight games? He's at it again.

This time he's not given a challenge opportunity for being too late with the shout-up. A few evil daggers and some sassy shade are thrown the umpire's way, before Cilic lands a huge ace to hold.

The dynamic has changed a little. Nadal has really retreated. At the start of the match Nadal was hugging the baseline. Now it's Cillic that is inside the baseline and Nadal is hanging back.

It's all gone a bit quiet with a couple of simple service games from both sides.

And then they pull out all the stops for a brilliant rally, which Nadal loses with a slap into the net.

Now this is tense - break point Cilic! But Nadal quickly pulls it back to deuce with a big serve.

Then he nets again...advantage Cilic and another break point.
