    Del Potro 6-4 5-5 Paire*

Paire asks the question of Del Potro. But it's one the Argentine answers. He holds to stay in the set.

Paire still has an absolute face on him after falling out with the umpire, I think so anyway - hard to tell beneath that beard.

Elsewhere, this chap is kitted out ready for the England game. What happened in '66?

    Barty 5-7 3-6 Kasatkina

    Well then!

Daria Kasatkina wins four of the last five games to beat Australia's Ashleigh Barty and reach the fourth round at Wimbledon for the first time.

She'll play either Alison van Uytvanck or Anett Kontaveit next.

    *Del Potro 6-4 4-5 Paire

Benoit Paire isn't too happy. My French isn't great but I don't think he's too impressed with a line call. He tosses the ball away with plenty of frustration at the end of the game and is still having a passionate word with the umpire at the change of ends.

You'd think he lost that game but he won it!

    Del Potro 6-4 4-4 Paire*

The giant Argentine skittles down a hold to love to level up.

Just wondering whether that slip earlier has shaken up Benoit Paire? Not won a point since, already has a heavily strapped knee...

Here's how Delpo took the opening set.

    *Del Potro 6-4 3-4 Paire

A chance for Juan Martin del Potro to break back immediately, but after the Argentine sends Benoit Paire sprawling with a wrong-footer of a forehand, the fifth seed steps over the net to go and comfort the Frenchman and make sure he's OK. What a guy.

No mercy from Delpo on the next point, he breaks straight back.

  7. No football for Kyle?published at 12:45 British Summer Time 7 July 2018

    Edmund v Djokovic

    BBC Radio 5 live

Kyle Edmund's (Swedish) coach Freddie Rosengren speaking about the World Cup quarter-final: "It's my job to try to avoid him [Kyle] watching it because it can take too much energy from him.

"I am not afraid of that at all, because Kyle is so focused on what he as to do on the tennis court.

"Sweden have no stars in the team. They have great defence, great strategy - one for all and all for one. I love that. I think they're very good at playing the better teams."

Edmund has, however, got his practice hour from 2-3pm. Convenient finishing time...

  8. Paire breakspublished at 12:42 British Summer Time 7 July 2018

    Del Potro 6-4 2-4 Paire*

Now it's Delpo with the slightest sign of fury, framing a forehand high into the SW19 sky. He thinks about slamming his racquet into the ground, but stops mid-swing.

That's superb from Benoit Paire, a down-the-line forehand that has Del Potro leaping at full stretch to reach it - all 6ft6 of the Argentine sprawls across court two, but can't coax it back.

    Paire breaks.

Talk about bad timing.... Tom is at Wimbledon on his brother's stag do. When he found out England would be playing at the same time, his heart sank.

"Can I not turn up to my brother's stag do? he wondered. "I'm best man, though, so I can't."

He's planning to leave the Wimbledon grounds to watch the match at a pub and then come back for some more tennis.

He's going for a 1-0 England win. Might put a dampener on the party if it isn't...

Oops, Benoit Paire is showing some frustration, venting in French after a miscued groundstroke.

He then lashes a leaping backhand beyond the giant Argentine, but Juan Martin del Potro holds.

Belgian Alison van Uytvanck is halfway to another upset. The world number 47 beat defending champion Garbine Muguruza in the previous round and has now taken the first set against 28th seed Anett Kontaveit.

Van Uytvanck is a break up in the second set too.

After that one finishes Milos Raonic will resume his match from last night. He's currently level at one set all against Dennis Novak.

Elsewhere, France's Giles Simon, a former quarter-finalist here, is a set up against Australian Matthew Ebden.

    Del Potro 6-4 1-2 Paire*

Delpo shows off his delicate side, too, engineering a perfectly weighted drop shot from deep that gets Benoit Paire scrambling.

We're back to the exhibition stuff... an exchange of volleys inside the service box, before Paire skips in to drive down a winner.

    The Frenchman holds.

Inside court two, Juan Martin del Potro is starting to hit his straps and ripping down some feisty serves. An easy hold for the Argentine.
