    *Edmund 6-4 3-6 2-6 3-3 Djokovic

That's a terrific swipe from Novak Djokovic as Kyle Edmund gets an approach all wrong.

Hmm. Edmund is unhappy with the timing of a call from the line judge, which was overruled, and Edmund reckons it's put him off his shot.

The umpire says it hasn't, and gives the point to Djokovic, and the Serb has two break points to play with.

    *Kyrgios 1-4 Nishikori

Well, Nick Kyrgios has just leathered down a 135mph second serve...

Feel like he deserves to get off the mark after that one, and he does with a flat-batted ace right down the T.

Kei Nishikori is beaten by a Kyrgios passer as he attempts to serve-volley at 40-0, but closes out to hold and maintain his lead.

Edmund is playing at a decent level, but a decent level is not going to get the job done against Djokovic.
